About 1 out of every 3 times they are late. Called this morning to get a cab at 2am and even started the time twice. Had to call back at 210am and she said she didnt hear me say 2am. Guess they were just gonna pick me up whenever they felt like it. Why if you claim you didnt hear a time you wouldnt ask the customer to state that info again?
The female dispatcher is rude unprofessional and has no business working with the public and on top of that a 15 minute wait ended up being a hour +
I was nearly pushed off the road by a green grab a ride sedan on a blind hill as they passed me on a double yellow line on Bakersville Rd. I was driving my pony with a slow moving vehicle trangle on back and if I had not pulled pony short the driver would have hit my pony. If a car had come the other way we would all been in a wreck.
I rarely catch a cab unless car troubles n today was one of those days- I needed a ride from the shell station - all other cab companies r known for being rude on the phone so I thought I'd give this one a try - on the phone very polite- but that was all that was pleasant w my experience- when the female driver arrived in a silver car instead of the green vans I had seen, it took me a min to realize it was the cab ( just a plain car) she immediately was rude to me soon as I opened the door n asked if she was grab a ride- she said smartly "I held up a flag n saw the guy tell u!" but this shell station is very busy where u can't see out the window n there were other ppl the workers were talking to besides me- I already didn't wanna get in over her nastiness- then i tried to explain an easy quick route to my destination - but she again got smart saying she knew the way THO the way she took was completely backward n facing the wrong way to drop me off- no more convo was attempted w this miserable woman after that- it was the most uncomfortable ride of my life! I always tip well- and still gave her a 2 dol tip for my 3 min ride just because I'm above that negativity but was just sick to my stomach afterwards for hours how I was treated. And will never call them AGAIN.... Get some drivers w class n teach them how to treat ppl the way they would like to be treated.... just common decency n respect.....
Terrible! Filthy cars and drivers who haven't bathed in days(at least). You are more likely to actually get a cab than with Downtown, but you'll probably need to bathe immediately after getting out. I actually shared the backseat with a huge cockroach - Eww!
Service is OK - if you can get it, and that's a big IF. They have one car covering their taxi "service" in the entire county, it can take hours for them to get there, you can't set up advance rides and they don't do return trips. That last one is a major problem for me since I am disabled. On the bright side, the driver is usually friendly and helpful. I wish I could say the same for the dispatcher. What starts with B and rhymes with Witch? Now, multiply that by 1,000. Is it possible to have severe PMS 24/7? She seems to support it. One last thing, 24 hour service means when she is awake and has someone who will put up with her long enough to get you where you're going. This particular time it's 6:30 am and I've been trying in vain to get a taxi for an hour and a half but no one's answering again, so I decided to write a review! Really, just a simple description change could fix that. I think the owner thinks she's fooling everyone into believing it is a bigger company. As for the 2 allegedly positive reviews listed here, you need only note the defensiveness to know she wrote them herself, along with "my cab drivers" and anonymous pen name.
In one word, incompetent. This company couldn't find me despite having giving them a street address, a cross street, and the name of the river I was alongside. I ended up having multiple phone discussions with them they still were making excuses. They must have given up looking for me after 90 minutes or so but never called me to let me know they weren't coming! After waiting a total of 2 hours for what should have taken 40 minutes I decided I would have to go with another option.
I never give a 5 stars as there is alway room for improvement. I'd recommend Easy Transport accept credit cards. That's just me. As far as my experience, car was clean, driver was friendly and I got to where I needed safety and on time. To include stopping at the ATM.
Easy transport is awesome! All transportation companies have their share of issue but with Easy transport they are resolved quickly and to our satisfaction. I work for a fortune 500 company located in the Hagerstown area and we entertain guess (vendor, sales, etc…) all the time and I always recommend them for an economically, safe, EASY way to travel while on station.
Miller is a perfect example of what happens when you don't have enough competition and you're OK just being marginally successful as a business. If you're OK waiting 30-90 minutes for a pickup and getting loads of attitude for daring to expect that they should have at least a rough idea of how long you'll be waiting, they're fine.
