        School History Red Dragon Martial Arts was founded in 2000 by Dan Fleming. Dan was a former student and Black Belt under the Cobra Karate School of Hagerstown, run by Master Dave Leather. Master Scott Bossler a former student and Black Belt under Master Paul Wood, the founder of Cobra Karate, started attending Red Dragon in the summer of 2001. In February of 2007 operation of the school was turned over to Master Bossler, so that Dan could pursue other endeavors. Red Dragons curriculum has evolved over the years. The current curriculum incorporates not only Taekwondo but also Aikido, Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and Boxing. By incorporating other styles Red Dragon offers a well-rounded system of self-defense. Our goal is to teach traditional martial arts yet include modern ideas and concepts. As the martial arts continue to evolve so does our curriculum, Red Dragon strives to provide the best training possible.

        Red Dragon offers separate traditional martial arts classes for Children, Adults & Families. We also offer martial arts based fitness programs such as Cage Fitness & Kickboxing. Our fitness classes are designed for individuals of all fitness levels from beginner to the advanced. Other services provided include Self Defense Seminars, School Talks, and Martial Arts Demonstrations. Red Dragon is available to host a wide variety of self-defense seminars. The seminars themselves can range from our standard self-defense seminar that we host regularly throughout the year to a more advanced seminar that can be catered to address a specific need. The seminars can be customized to suit individuals, groups or an, organizations specific needs. We can arrange seminars for Women and Men, Women Only or Men Only. If you are interested in participating in one of our self-defense seminars there are several different ways to keep up to date on when our next event will be held. First you can check our events page on our website to see when the next one will be held. Second, on our contacts page you can like us on Facebook and we can send you an invite. You can also send us a message through Facebook or email and we will be sure to notify you. Demonstrations: Are you hosting an event and need some entertainment but want something different? Then look no further give Red Dragon a call. Red Dragon can be available to put on a martial arts demonstration at your next event. Last but certainly not least School Talks, can be anything from Anti Bullying, to Drug and Alcohol awareness.
