I have been going here since about 2004. I was never dissatisfied. I always get compliments on my cut (pixie) and color, and the price is $30 for the whole kittenkaboddle. There are enough teachers working so I never worry about a trainee cutting or coloring. It takes about 2 to 2-1/2 for the whole procedure, because as almost graduated students make sure they are being supervised and take their time. If you are in a hurry don't go.
I liked it here. The trick to leaving happy is get basic things done. I got my hair washed and blow dried and a mani/pedi. The girl Kara was nice
Tracy did my nails an I like it She was quick with the gel manicure. I was reading the other reviews and I realize how people do not like them. Its funny because every time im in there they are always packed. I don't care if they are personable or not as long as I leave with my nails looking good
SHADY BUSINESS BEWARE...I been going to this salon for over a year i am so disgusted at how they treated me. When i stepped in the salon it seemed like new staff, so i asked the girl at the front desk one i never seen before if it was the same owners she said yes and that the got a partner in the business so thats why there are so many new workers. I also know when there are upgrades or addition prices raise so i asked if the prices were the same as it was always $20 she said yes same owner nothing has changed. So i proceeded to get my eyelashes done, then after it was done they said $30 so i told the young lady that did the job the lady at the front told me $20 and we went to find the young lady first the one that did my lashes spoke in her language to the girl maybe to warn her about the issue and in front of my face she lied and said i told u $30 i was so shocked i have been going there for about a year and a half and they would treat me like that.. I proceeded to tell the girl she is liar and its not the money its the principal to tell the truth even if her job is in jeopardy tell them what you told me. The manager seems like he knew that i was right he took the $20 dollars with no problem then i gave a $5 tip as i always have done. Then a male worker proceeded to follow me out the store saying apologize to her so that my customers are not inconvenience and they dont get upset.i guess he didnt want his customers to see what type of business they were running ..i said i will not apologize next time do the right thing to everyone and you should not have any problems...oh and soon as went in i looked at the prices on the wall and there was no price for eyelashes... SO BEWARE OF THEIR SCHEME

They get one star because they do decent nails and I have no choice but to give them a star in order to write a review. Anyway,I have been following billy on Instagram for months before I decided to book an appointment. The atmosphere is just ok, and my nails came out really good. I did notice they were not very personable, but I gave them a pass because I liked my nails. You would think that after going consistently they would warm up to you and be nicer, but NO! I had been left waiting for long periods of time without anyone acknowledging that my appointment has flown by and when you mention it they are very nonchalant and act as if they could careless. They also do not and will not offer you any type of incentives for your long waits. JASON the guy who I believe who runs the shop is extremely rude and has no problem ignoring you or brushing you off. They are so unprofessional and you don't expect that considering the pries they charge. I rather go somewhere that values their customers and do good work.
Made an appt. with Billie one of the popular nail techs in this salon, you have to book 3-4 weeks in advance, he was a no show for my scheduled appt. with him I was passed off to another nail tech after an half hour later named Loe... I was satisfied with Loe's work and booked with him for my next appt. I show up for my scheduled appt. on time and the same thing happens this time I'm waiting over 30min! Then passed off to a less experienced nail tech in the back of the salon. I picked a very basic design for her to do. After she was done it was an ok job, I went to pay and it was being charged a very high price for a basic gel manicure! I asked the receptionist why is the price so high? She responded that she had no idea... She turns to Jason who is in charge and asked why my nails were so much he said it was bc I had foil on my tips. I asked the receptionist to lower the price, she then turns to Jason and sarcastically says "Jay she wants you to lower the price" he ignores her. I say to Jason I've been stood up by two of your nail techs I made appt. with weeks in advance consecutively can you please lower the fee, he never responds, he acts like I'm not even there! I paid the ridiculously high amount and left. The staff at fine touch nails are extremely unprofessional and do not care about costumer service, you will be over charged, you will be waiting for long periods of time before anyone greets you, you also may be stood up by Billie or Loe with out any apology, and passed off to who ever is available at their convenience and your expense. Jason is just as unprofessional as his staff and doesn't care about making the costumer happy. You've been warned! I do not recommend going to Fine Touch Nails!
