Long story short, staff botched my wife’s appointment that she paid a deposit for by booking her in 2022 🤦🏼♂️,she was pretty much forced to settle for a dress that day due to our wedding date being right around the corner. After paying over $2,000 for her dress, and getting home, she just was not happy with her dress. She called back to the business and was told the owner was on vacation and said she would get back with her when she got home . Well a few days later she finally contacted my wife, and well…. Business is business I guess you can say, no refunds, no exchanges, no nothing other than tough luck ✌🏼. Your measly sales is more important than working with your customer’s to ensure they feel amazing in a dress they love , let that sink in .
I could not be more pleased with each and every purchase we have made from this establishment throughout my daughters high school years. The staff and owner are extremely courteous and professional- even helping pick the dresses that were best suited for my daughter! They definitely made her high school dances special!
Unorganized & rude! They ordered the wrong dress for my bridesmaids BUT said they could get a different dress in --A WEEK-- before my wedding and **that they didn't take returns**. After having to explain that it is not my fault that they ordered the wrong dress and that I'm not comfortable with a dress that HOPEFULLY comes in a week before my wedding, I got her to return them while rolling her eyes at me! The only thing I kept from this store, was the ring bearers rental suit... unfortunately, I had to change the suit color from black to grey three weeks before the rental came in.... they told me this was a easy switch and they would change it right away.... yet it ALSO came in wrong --- a week before the wedding! These people are incompetent!
Finding the perfect dress for your wedding can be exciting and stressful at the same time. Our consultatant, Brittany, and the store owner provided helpful suggestions tactfully and offered the perfect amount of support! Brittany was attentive, but not pushy. I cannot wait until July to order the dress of my daughters dreams.

We put a dress on layaway for this yesterday about a month ago. the dress was going to cost around $300. My husband returned from overseas on Tuesday and found out his mother was ill and we had to go. I called on Thursday and told them to please refund my money as we were not going to need the dress, i had paid close to $250. The girl I talked to said that they only give store credit and i told her that we would not need it since we would be transferring to a new duty station in 2 months. She said I had to talk to the owner but she was not there and would call me back.
When the owner called back later in the afternoon she said that it was store policy that the only give store credit. I tried explaining to her that we would not be able to use it and she said that since I was rude with her employee that is all she would do, then she said that if i did not like it I could sue her and she would see me in court and hung up...I'm moving away from the coast that we fell in love with but she is one person we will not miss....I hope you gag on the money that you just stole from us.
On Aug 27, 2012 I called and placed a hold on a dress that my daughter wanted with this company. But things changed and the dress was not needed. I called on 9/4 to cancel the hold and was told the owner would have to call me back, no call. On 9/11 I called again and was told the owner would have to call me. Today I go and visit the shop and was told that they would only give me a store credit. I told them I did not need a store credit and was told “well it’s store policy”. I told them I needed to talk to the person in charge and was told by a lady, who had an English accent, that I would have to talk to the owner. I said ok and she said “well she’s in a meeting today and not available”. I told them they had until 2pm to call me back or I was going to file a complaint. At 1:44pm I received a call from the lady that I spoke with and she related that she spoke with the owner and that she is off and will call me back tomorrow. I asked her, did you not say she was in a meeting eailer and all she could say is she will call you back.
The owner will not call back or is not getting the messages. The did not tell me that by putting a hold on a dress that I would only receive store credit nor is it posted any were that I saw when I was in there.
They will not refund money owed back or return calls. Thank goodness I made calls from my cell phone so that I can prove when and at what time I called. I believe now that I will have to take them to Justice Court to get my money back pulse court costs.
What an awesome place to shop for the latest fashion dresses and accessories!! House of Tux has such a friendly/educated staff willng to help in any way! It is so nice to be able to get everything I need at one time. They have a great selection of shoes, jewerly, clutches, and anything else you could need! The sales ladies alway seem to know what looks best on me, things I would never even consider trying on! The special attention I always receive is fantastic!
Super impressed!!! Will continue to visit House of Tux for all of my party attire!
Where should i start......
Ok about a year ago i needed a wedding dress. My mom came in from Kentucky to help me with my very important day. The first and ONLY place we stopped by was House of Tux and Bridal.
I am so pleased with the service that i have enjoyed being apart of their "bridal family". Adrian has been a LIFE SAVER to my mom and I. My wedding date was pushed because the church wasnt complete. She had no problems with my dress staying at her shop. She even mentioned to beware of hurrican season and if i flee...bring my dress with me!! Then my father became ill and i had to leave town for several months. Adrian allowed a special payment plan while i was away and was very concerned for my father. Now that my dad is doing much better and the wedding is 15 days away it was time to sew up all loose ends, meaning jewelry and shoes.
Adrian also helped to find me the exact shoes that i had been searching for and dyed them right there in her shop. My only concern left was my jewelry. To me that is the finishing touch to my bridal look so i was more than "pickey" about what i am willing to wear.
Adrain new i was stressing and special ordered a variety of jewelry for her shop while keeping in mind what i was looking for. SHE NAILED IT!!!
My look is complete and I owe it all to House of Tux and Mrs. Adrian.
When i walked through those doors a year ago noone in that store knew me at all. Now when i go in i am greeted on a first name basis and that is rare and so is the type of excellent customer service that you will get at House of Tux.
My sister is getting married and we went there for her dress and the bridesmaids dress, and the service was very friendly and they attendants were willing to help and go out of their way to help my sister and her maids. they offered suggestions but were not pushy. I enjoyed by experience at the bridal shop and will use them for any other event that comes up in the future.
I am the Bride & my wedding is in April, I would highly suggest going else where to get your bridesmaids dresses. I ordered my dresses in Jan. they told me they would be here in a month, well I called in a month to check on them & the lady told me no it takes 16 weeks to get in. Then she "checked" on them & said they will be here the week of the wedding....then my panic set in!! Thankfully they came in the 3rd week of March, but on top of that they had my Bridesmaids order a size larger then they needed so that they could charge them for alterations that would not have been needed if they would have had them order the right size in the first place. Now I went with one of my Bridesmaids to get fitted for her dress (she just had a child so she a little wide in the hips) & the seamstress said that she needed to let the hips out to keep the zipper from bunching up. When we came back in a week to try the dress on again the zipper was the same & you could tell she didnt even touch the area, needless to say we had to leave it there so they could take care of it. So come to find out yesterday she recieved a call from House Of Tux from a worker there asking my Bridesmaid "What were we supposed to be doing to your dress again"!!!!! Horrible Horrible place after this wedding is over I will never go there again for mardi gras or any other event that comes up. So my advice if you are the Bride take your business elsewhere this part of my wedding has been my biggest stress.
