Better than most with lots of colorful samples to encourage your creative juices. The selection is appropriate for the size of the facility. Class room needs windows for natural lighting. Very attentive owner, maybe to the point of too attentive with a child wanting to "do their own thing". Great place for a kids party.
We have the best time at Alley Katz! I'm so great full that we have such a neat place with great owners that really care. Mrs Mary is there to guide or teach, whatever you need. It's a great place for ladies groups, birthday parties or groups. Every other friday night they're open late and encourage groups to bring food & drink and have fun! Just walk in and you'll feel right at home.
Rick:Alleykats ceramics is a great place to buy anything you need to do ceramics.Mary is a wonderful and very helpful teacher. She will walk you through any project and make sure you get it right-you will be very pleased with the results. This is a very well run and informative and fun place to buy and get taught from.Great one on one classes with all the materials you need.absolutely LOVE ALLEYKATS
I was impressed when I walked in. This place is so much more than a ceramic shop. Not only do they sell paints and materials but they offer a variety of classes. I was especially excited to see they offer pottery classes. The people are friendly and the shop was nice and clean.
I am so delighted to finally find a full service ceramic shop that has an area to work and get instructions on how to complete a project correctly. Additionally, Mary, the instructor, is very knowledgeable, quick to tell patrons when they are not performing properly and quite patient with the incompetence of the student. A true treasure. Thank you for providing me with an outlet for my creative desires in ceramics.
AlleyKat Ceramics is VERY CLEAN for a full-service ceramic studio. Most ceramic stores are dusty from the bisque and greenware, cluttered from the laid-back atmosphere, and very amateur-ish because it's someone's hobby, not really business-like. Alleykat Ceramics is none of that, while still maintaining a friendly and welcoming environment. This is the best ceramic studio I've seen in the area and at least out to Texas. I travel through this area frequently and thoroughly enjoyed visiting this studio while I was in the area.
