My 4 year old has been attending Kid Academy for 3 years and we absolutely love it! He surprises us with all that he learns. The teachers are great and communicate well with parents. The school always put on events that are fun for the whole family. I believe my child will be well prepared for kindergarten thanks to this pre-school.

I love bringing my kids which are ages 1,3, and 7 to Wee Ones. My husband and I was blown away by the facility, and WE are both impresed with the level of quality there. You can tell all the children here are well cared for and well-loved! Thank you to all the wonderful staff at Wee Ones.
This place looked great on the surface when I enrolled my children, but I quickly realized my mistake. I would not recommend anyone to leave their kids here. From the small amount of time we were there I noticed that the teachers never wash their hands. The children also do not get their hands washed or their faces cleaned. I helped my child in the restroom once and was appalled at the filth and smell. The children always seemed to be sick and most of the kids there had yellow mucus pouring from their noses and dried to their faces. I was concerned to often times find one teacher watching more children than they are supposed to. Some of the classrooms are filthy with milk and food on shelves and very dirty carpets.
I wasn't going to leave a review out of respect for being kind, but then I thought about how LITTLE respect I received when no one called me to let me know that my daughter had gotten urinated on by another child on the playground at this facility. My child has gotten harmed twice in a ONE MONTH period at this facility. If you love your child, DON'T bring them here. The first time my toddler was pushed down on the playground by another kid, and her nose was bloody and bruised. She couldn't take school pictures the next week, let alone perform in a New Orleans parade with her dance team because of her bruised nose. Everyone asked me what happened and looked on in horror when I told she had gotten hurt at preschool. I let that situation slide because kids will be kids, but the last straw came when a young boy held my daughter's head down on the playground and urinated on her from the neck down. I was disgusted and wondered how this could happen if teachers were watching because it takes time to do all of this. I don't know if my child was a victim of bullying and no one cared, etc. but what I do know is that supervision of your child on the playground is not top of the line here. My daughter was at a facility for 2 years before we moved to this area and came home with ONE bruise on her leg from falling down, and she had a band-aid for it. At this facility...my daughter's nose was bloody when I picked her up the first time with no band-aid, etc. Her wound still had sand on it (I have pictures). Yes things do happen at daycare facilities, but there are some facilities better at watching children than others. I am going to tell the truth no matter how nice the previous reviews sound. I'm currently working on a Master's degree, and working constantly, and knowing that my daughter was being harmed put even more stress on my life.
Worst daycare center around. They are understaffed. They do not pay attention to the children. My son has come home with bite marks on his body or scratches to his face and nobody can explain what happened. There are workers that steal diapers from the kids as well as money that has come up missing when the people from cheer zone come to the facility. Linda Ortega is the most unprofessional director. She is never there in the daycare. She is either at the owners house watching her children or in the price contracting office running her mouth. She leaves the daycare unsupervised all times through the day. Ms. Sherrie is know for snatching kids up by their clothing rather then finding another way to reprimand them. Deidra Berthold steals from the daycare. Do not take your children there unless you want to get ripped off. Debbie who is in the infant room has been overheard saying that she had a hangover more than once and had to go home. She could not handle the 3-4 year olds so she was moved to the infant one. I picked my son up once when Debbie was supposed to be his teacher and he was very nasty to say the least. I had to clean him up and change his clothes before being able to leave the daycare. She does not pay attention to the children and cannot be trusted. DO NOT TAKE YOUR CHILDREN THERE.
I am telling you guys RIGHT NOW...if you love your children like I do DO NOT put your child into this daycare. They pretend as if they are nice (maybe the directors are), but the teachers are SNEAKY and undercover MEAN! My children have told me on numerous accounts that the teachers hit the children, and discourage them when they apologize for what they have done. These are just little kids, and they have no rights putting their hands on any of the children. If there is punishment to be done, a timeout should suffice, and the teachers should let the parents know so that the parent can punish the child. A teacher does not love the child as much as the father and mother does, so a hit from the teacher can be very severe and unloving. I advise anyone in 2017 to ask their children if they get hit at this facility, and to also not even put their child into this facility. Don't let the nice playground, toys, etc. fool you. These teachers like to take physical matters into their own hands. I'm warning you all! I've spoken to a few parents that have told me that their children told them the same things as well. These teachers think the children are not telling anything, but they are.
I have never encountered such a wonderful place for children. The staff is always so welcoming and accommodating. My daughter has been going there for a year now & she loves it. I am always telling people how much I love Kid Academy and recommend anyone with small children to go there.Sincerely,Amber Adams
