Best STAFF in Town!!!! Always speak to me when I go in and are super accommodating
Had a terrible lunch experience. Sat for 30 min after receiving our drink order without the blonde waitress even coming to the table once. Maybe it was because she brought each entree out one plate at a time to a table of 4 rather than on a tray. No soup, salad, and certainly no entree; best of all, no apology. We walked out 45 min later, shortly after another table did the same. DO NO DINE IN if you have less than several hours to wait for your order.
My husband and I went to eat dinner here, after reading that they had an "All you can eat" sushi buffet. When we arrived, there were no buffet tables with food set up, so we asked the waitress where the sushi buffet was. She stated that you order off a menu, as much as you want, and they bring it to you. That didn't sound bad, until she added "But keep in mind that we charge you for whatever you you don't eat." I couldn't believe what she had just said, so I said "EXCUSE ME?", to which she responded "We charge you our regular sushi prices for whatever food you don't eat, so you can order what you want, as much as you want, but if you don't finish it we charge you our regular sushi prices for it." My husband and I looked at each other in disbelief, as we had never heard of something so outrageous & ridiculous at an "all you can eat" buffet before! This is a horrible policy, because if you order something that you end up not liking, unlike a regular buffet where you can simply not eat it, at Sake Cafe they will charge you for it, which could end up being really expensive if you are trying different rolls and not finishing them all. So the fun of trying different food items is GONE, because you have to worry about finishing everything they give you before you can move on to something else, even if you end up not liking what you ordered, of which there is a big chance of happening since every restaurant is different and you are a new diner who doesn't know what is good and what isn't. We were so outraged at this stupid & idiotic policy that we said "NO THANK YOU!" and promptly got up and left. This is NOT an "all you can eat" sushi restaurant, it is a "you better finish all your food or we will charge you for it" restaurant. It is a very tacky way for them to save money and to put pressure on diners to eat everything they order, which is NOT what people go to an "all you can eat" restaurant for. They should just charge individually for there sushi and stop calling it "all you can eat", because what they are doing is insulting to diners who come for a regular "all you can eat" experience, and not be spied on to see if they finished all their food so they can charge them extra for what they didn't finish. We will NEVER go back again.
