I had the sloppy steak Taco and the bacon wrapped Jalapeno, and ordered fried pickles for the table. My Taco was delivered nice and hot and was very tasty. The Jalapeno were good, but the bacon and the peppers seemed a bit soggy to me. If they could figure out a way to crisp them up it would be a much better dish. Still they were a hit and I had to fight off a few family members who tried to poach some. The fried pickles were great, nice thin, hot, crispy chips served with a sauce that complimented them perfectly. The rest of the table ordered a burger, and a smothered chicken breast both of which seemed to be perfect based on how fast they were gobbled down. My wife and daughter shared the Balsamic Chicken pasta and of course even with 2 of them, I had to finish it. Normally i don't order pasta out, because somehow restaurants always find a way to ruin it. This pasta was great, cooked to a perfect al dente, not crunchy, not squishy...just right. The sauce was light and flavorful and the chicken was tender and juicy. There were a total of 6 of us and we ate for under $100 including 6 glasses of micro-brewed beer. The food would have been great even if it cost 20% more.
The menu is eclectic and reasonably priced! The Texas torpedoes were amazing and the burgers are worthy of the best burger in town award. It's small but worth the short wait you may have. The owners are local and very friendly!
Great service BAD food quality. Just not has good has it used to be.
