Have home warranty. They gave me this place to call and have service gentleman come out. Made appt., he came out and said he would be contacting warranty company. Almost 3 weeks later and warranty company still had nothing from them. I called warranty company over and over and they would call them while I was on the phone. Yesterday, I know the warranty people spoke to technician at least 4 times and he said he would have our diagnostic findings turned in by the end of working day. So at 8 p.m. we made our final phone call to warranty company and found out that he still didn't turn in findings. So although we have waited this long my husband asked to just have someone else come out. I am not sure why they couldn't get on the ball and just help. I guess when you have 5 kids at home and no air-conditioning in 100 degree weather just isn't much reason for promptness or honesty or consideration. I mean it is not like they weren't going to get paid. IT IS A WARRANTY! What is the point of having a home warranty if you cannot use it the way it is intended to be used. So here we go again, another 3 weeks in the Scorching Heat!

This company came to repair our heat and air unit. They took a 3 second look, took out a part and said they had to send for it. It would be here in 2 days. The cost for part and labor would be 500.00. They said the company that manufacturers the particular part won't just make the part which is only 44.00 but they make you buy the whole thing. 5 days went by, no word. I called, they said the place the part was coming from was doing inventory and it would be a while.
5 more days. Still no part. 5 more days, still no part. 10 more days still no part. More than a month later they came out to put the part in. They didnt even replace the unit panel..left all the screws on the shelf. Then gave me a bill for 1000.00 ????????????
They have not answered my calls nor my letters. I am going to send them the original bid amount, however I am going to contact the company this part was ordered from to see if indeed they were having inventory for a month and how much the part actually is.
