It builds its ambulances in a sophisticated 105,000 square foot facility designed specifically for manufacturing high quality, custom-designed emergency medical vehicles and features the latest in computer technology for engineering, manufacturing and customer service. All Horton units are subjected to all required testing and procedures as outlined in Federal Ambulance Specifications and Ford Quality Vehicle Modifier guidelines. The ambulances have also undergone rigorous Hyge sled crash testing to ensure equipment stability and the reliability of mounting systems and cabinet attachments. Horton Emergency Vehicles has facilities in Grove City, Ohio.
