I've been going to Doc Smile, both Greenfield and Gross Pointe location, for over 10 years, what started out as a radio ad for free teeth cleaning, has turned out "my" primary dentist. the service and staff are 100% on point and the professionalism is outstanding. Whenever I call and say hello, the know who it is. I never have to remember any appointment, they always call ahead of time to remind me that an appointment is due. I'm very glad to have found DOC SMILE DENTAL CENTER!!!!

My family and I have been with Doc Smile Dental Center for at least 6 years. This year has been the worst experience I have had with them. With my dental insurance I have never had to come out of pocket, not even for a co-pay. I set my family and new husbands cleaning appts like normal. After my husbands cleaning, and before they started mine, they notified me my husbands bill would be over $400 for a scaling and mine would be over $200 for a deep cleaning, what did my insurance cover??? I was floored!!! 1. because they didn't give me an option to say no before completing dental work on my husband. 2. I was not told a new dentist took over, and now I would be billed for me and my husband when I scheduled the appts. They then explained to me that all those years they were waiving my bill and this new dentist said no more waiving. yeah right!!! You were billing my insurance company, now they were billing my insurance and me. In the past they have told me I have very good dental insurance, that's why I was never charged, and now my husband and I have a $600 dental bill, which they told us we can make payment arrangements on. I was upset because we were not informed when I scheduled the appt. and were not prepared. It was embarrassing. My daughter was also due a free zoom whitening, which she was really looking forward to and they have now rescheduled 3 times, one time she was on her way there. This last time they even called the day before to confirm, assuring my daughter they were all set this time and prepared for her the next day. Only to call the next morning to reschedule her. She is very disappointed, she was attending homecoming!!! You see there is no sense of urgency because its free and they are not making money from the procedure. I am done, my family of 4 will now take our business and good insurance somewhere else!!!! This is not a professional institution anymore. Beware!!!!
