Do not go here if you have long curly hair and want to keep it. Between having HOLES and GAPS cut into my hair, the RAZOR she used on my coarse thick curly hair completely ruined my hair. I had to go to another salon and have all of it cut off into a short hair style to repair the mess she made. You get what you pay for... Salon on 8th gets $22 for a haircut. I'd rather pay the stylist $40 that had to cut my hair off today into something that is decent looking. I will NEVER go back and trust Salon on 8th again. I wouldn't even trust her to groom my dog now.
I had the worst experience EVER, which is unfortunate because I've been to this place before and didn't have an issue until today, but it was a big enough issue to NEVER go back. In short story form: their nail tech Keisha is one of the rudest people I've met in the customer service industry, and she does SHODDY work.
They shaved my son's head nearly an inch above the hairline and then when I asked for either a refund or a free next cut for my husband who is a regular customer, they were rude and said they would not do either one. That is fine. They just lost a regular customer.
I am not sure what the people before me are talking about. I have been doing business with Better Bilt for many years. They have always been professional and fair. The quality of their work is impressive. I know when I call them for anything, even a small question, they are quick to answer and never in a demeaning manner (and I am a woman- for the reviewer below). I never had to worry. I was treated like family. Owner and his wife were very thorough and professional from start to finish. I'm the type of person who always remembers a question I want to ask after I hang up the phone with the person who can give me an answer. Every time I remembered to ask the owner a question about something specific, I knew that all I had to do was pick up the phone and he would take the time to give me the answers I was looking for. This went on for several days, but I finally made the decision to move forward and I am so very happy that I did! Thank you, Better Bilt!
could not agree more with Ed. Very dishonest and a real displeasure to talk to. They are not upfront with cost even though they claim to be and will nickel and dime you after giving you a quote. This company especially the owner is not worth the hassle to deal with. TAKE YOUR BUSINESS ELSEWHERE
Went to look at buildings. Owner was an arrogant POS. Treated my wife and in a way I could not believe. Better customer service at McDonalds. Wife nice on the phone but her husband is an AH. Take your business elsewhere.
