Boarding at Red Star was my first time boarding a horse and it was the worst experience! The whole property is run-down and the pasture is not large enough for the amount of horses grazing on it. Half of it is sloppy mud with tons of manure that never gets cleared out and the other half is overgrown with weeds. The indoor arena that's promised is inaccessible due to storage of the owner's boats and personal equipment. The owner is very overbearing and rude to anyone who doesn't take her advice in terms of riding/horse care/etc. The day I sold my horse, she threw my belongings on the ground, implied to my buyers that he was a bad horse and I was ripping them off, insulted my buyers to their faces, and called me very rude names. Definitely not the level of maturity or customer service I expected from an adult business owner. Stay away from Red Star Stables, no matter how nice the pictures make it look or the owner may seem!
