After she experienced one too many breakdowns in her older car, we decided that for her peace of mind and for ours, we wanted to get our daughter a good, safe, economical car, that’s also fun. After researching many auto sites, and industry and owner reviews we decided on the 2013 Kia Soul. We already knew that she loved these “cute” cars, but we needed more information before we were “souled”.We live out in St Helens, Oregon and have no “local” dealer, so I emailed several dealers within a decent drive from us. I asked many newbie questions and explained that we wanted this to be a surprise for our daughter’s birthday but that we had no idea how to pull this off. Steven in Weston Kia Sales was the only dealer who stayed in contact and was willing to help us. He ordered exactly what we wanted for an excellent price, had it delivered and set up ready for pick up on her birthday. On “The Day”, when we pulled up with her in our car, everyone cooperated in distracting her while the “stage” was set. One of the men put on the Hamster suit and brought her over to her new car that was waiting in the show room all shiny and prepped for her. She almost fainted. Steven couldn’t be there, but Josh Wilcox and others were and they all fooled her really well. After she started to calm down, Jon Fortsch with much patience and in enough detail went though the operation of all the driver-controlled parts of her car. He even set up her iPhone for her. Jon Fortsch in the business department was very good at explaining the various aspects of her warranty coverage, service contracts, and owner servicing responsibilities. He should be a teacher. He’s very low key but thorough in covering the important details. We have purchased several new cars over the last 20 years, but no experience anywhere has been so painless, educational, and even fun. We will all be Weston fans forever because of their wonderful customer service. Our next car will be from them, as will hers, and yours should be also.
This was my very first time buying a car. I was expecting that pushy salesman personality that I've experienced elsewhere; not at Gresham Subaru. Everyone was really supportive and patient. I was apprehensive about such a large purchase but the relaxed atmosphere really helped me listen to my gut rather than a salesperson pressuring me into buying something I wasn't crazy about. Gabby was my salesperson; she was such a delight. Very nice and VERY patient. She even helped me research which car insurance would offer me the best deal, and call around to see if we could speak to anyone. David and Nick explained all the bells and whistles, even though they had closed and were all very tired. They didn't rush me as soon as the purchase was complete. I ended up staying an hour after closing working with Patrick in the finance department: he was very honest about which features and coverage I would need and which I could live without. By the time I was done test driving and falling in love with this gorgeous Crosstrek Subaru, the staff felt more like friends. I would HIGHLY recommend these folks for your next vehicle purchase.
I was scared to buy a car...after many failed attempts at getting financing at different lots from new to extremely used (82nd street...yes I felt I had to stoop that low) and even another Tonkin dealership....Gresham hyundai came through for me...is my interest rate low...no but I know what my credit looks like...did I have to put some money down...yes but it's better than driving an unreliable car that I had to buy off Craigslist or offer up. I got MORE than I asked for. Was treated with respect and caring. I made an excellent car dealers AND new friends. I will never buy a car from anyone other than Gresham hyundai--Dale, Brian and the finance manager (sorry spent so little time with you I can't remember your name)...you guys made up for all the rest of the bad sales guys...YOU ARE AWESOME!
It was so painless I couldn't believe it. It's my first major purchase in my life that was made alone for the most part and my mom said she still can't believe how easy it seemed and she was 600 miles away! Gurme and the boys helped me out tremendously! Whether it was finding the right car in my financial range or explaining the gap coverage they explained everything very well and very honestly. I will be returning in the future when it's time for another car because this experience was just the crème de la crème of car shopping experiences! Please don't ever change Big Subaru store right off Powell in Gresham! Wow see even your advertising just works. Ok Ok that's enough praise! Now to the negative:None! Wait I got one: "going anywhere else"HA! Have a great day!!!
I recently had my car totaled in an accident and was dreading going car shopping. I did my homework online and knew I wanted an AWD vehicle. Gresham Subaru was the first place I stopped, and I was greeted by Khalil Abozeeter whose professional and friendly manner put me right at ease. He was very knowledgeable and really listened to me about what I was looking for. Khalil was able to show me several great cars, he actually made my car buying experience very enjoyable, I wasn't pressured at all. It turned out that I didn't need to go anywhere else. Gresham Subaru had exactly what I needed at a fair price and EXCELLENT customer service! My thanks to Gresham Subaru and, especially Khalil !!! I called to make an appointment and was told a 22K service did not need one. Once on site and written up as Express Service, I was told another concern I had was outside the parameters of the Express Service. I prefer the good old fashioned appointment where I can ask to have something in addition to the oil change addressed and your employee asks informed questions. When I was exiting I noticed the computer codes had not been cleared and a technician had to be brought forward to square that away. This program may sacrifice quality and care for time savings. The customer leaves with a service need without remedy and you lose the opportunity to generate more revenue.
I had the pleasure to work with Shawn Laird, Cameron, Tanner in sales and Kelly Lambert in Finance. I was in and out within an hour once I got to the dealership. I did most everything over the phone with Cameron and Shawn. I have terrible credit plus a recent repossession and they still found me a finance company to work with me and the vehicle they found me was over the top in value, looks and comfort! I appreciate all the love and care all the guys showed my family in this car buying experience!! Thank you all for such an Awesome experience!! I will only deal with Ron Tonkin!!
My experience was very positive. I was waited on immediately. I had researched what I wanted in advance. They had the car I was looking for and David had it waiting for me when I arrived. The thing I appreciated is that I didn't have to wait around for anything. I saw the car, I drove it, we quickly negotiated a price and we did the paperwork all in less than 2 hours. Everyone was very professional and pleasant. David was very knowledgeable about the car and sat with me in the car to get everything set up (bluetooth, radio, mirrors, etc) before I left.
I was reaaly nervous about buying the truck by myself. I did not bring my husband or my son with me because they were busy. Justin made everything go really smooth and told me that you guys throughly checked out the truck. If there is anything majorly wrong with the used vehicles that you don't even keep those but sell them to the auctions or sell them to another dealer. That made me feel really at ease. I haven't had anything go wrong with the truck. Wilsonville Toyota is always willing to help me with all of my questions and concerns.
This has been one of the most pleasurable experiences that I have ever had in buying a new Subaru. Mary was so knowledgeable with financing, and the operation of the many interior tech systems on my 3.6R Outback - the best part was her winning personality - 10 Stars. David, took us for a test drive and helped with settings on the dash. Both associates showed a complete interest in my satisfaction, which they couldn't do enough for me.
