Great atmosphere, clean environment my, unique club....good pricing! Best gym in the Greenville/Greer area by far....
My son is leaving for AIR FORCE basic training on Monday morning. The gym was notified in person as well as in writing of this fact. They are REFUSING to terminate his membership in direct violation of the SSCRA Act. SOMEONE needs to do something about this place!!! They claim that he must recontact them after BASIC & tell them where he's going. I explained the AIR FORCE sends you DIRECTLY to tech school on a bus or plane - you are NOT ALLOWED to go out & find a gym! Plus according to the law, it states that servicemen are protected from their FIRST DAY OF DUTY - which begins the first day of basic training.
Powerhouse is a truly a gym for everyone. The staff is very knowledgeable and provides personalized one-on-one training that will enable you to accomplish your fitness goals. The equipment is up-to-date and kept very clean. Overall, this is the best gym in the upstate.
Great club...clean, great atmosphere...Me and my wife have been going for years
The gym owner is disorganized. The place smells like old water and mold. The gentleman who cleans is creepy. He walks up to females and begins talking to them about "taking boxing lessons in his garage." All together the place is disgusting and unprofessional and I would NEVER recommend it to anyone.
Love this place. Not your normal workout ... Something new every visit to keep you motivated and on your toes. I never get bored!. John and his trainers are dedicated to make sure I get everything I need (and want) in each workout. I would highly recommend to all my friends.
great club, no cliques, people are there to work out.
The equipment at this gym is good for the most part. There is a decent selction of free weights, weight machines and cardio equipment. The real problem with this gym is the amount of people. If you're not one who goes to the gym after work it may be ok. If you do plan on going after work this is not the gym for you. It is so packed Monday throug Thursday from 5-7 that you can barely move and you have to take whatever happens to be available rather than being able to choose a workout. They'll tell you that they cap their total members to prevent overcrowding but yet as overcrowded as it is they are still touring the place to a handful of potential new members every night.Bottom Line: If you plan on working out in the evenings just be sure you know what your getting into before you get stuck in a two year contract like I did.
Great club....18 Yrs in the Greenville area!
Airborne is the best gym in the upstate. They have an awesome staff who are positive and fun. The facility is very open and clean. They offer the most flexibility of any gym in the area.
