After my post I was contacted by Jed Holtzman the GM of Greer Toyota. He kindly allowed me to vent out my frustration over my vehicle being in the condition it was in for 20 minutes, he then very kindly requested if I would be able to come down with my husband to meet with him over the matter. In my mind I was under the impression that like most dealerships they would somehow make me out to feel it was my fault and show me parts of my truck that I failed to keep up on or some other type of "Im wrong and they were right" process. However knowing my husband was coming I was confident that the repair that was need on my 2007 Rav 4 owned for 1 year was going to be DISCOUNTED. Upon arriving to the dealership I was kindly greeted by their receptionist, not unusual the customer service I always said was good, and Jed was called to the front. He introduced himself and had us have a seat in the middle of the showroom and again let me vent out my frustration and never said a word until I was finally finished. The next words that he said I was stunned, "Im going to make this right, regardless of what the problem may or may not be, Im going to do everything I can to make you happy" I was shocked, he then introduced us to a very kind member of the Toyota family Tim Bright who proceeded to inquire what our needs as a family were when it came to transportation, still unsure of what was going on I explained we chose the Rav4 for the space, we have 2 kids and 2 large dogs, he got up and brought back 2 vehicles, a Rav4 and a Camry. I was still unsure of what or why we were looking at these automobiles, meanwhile my beloved 2007 Rav was half dead in their shop. About 15-20 min later the manager came back out and sat us down and said "I would like to get you out of your 2007 Rav4, pay your loan off and put you in one of our new 2014 vehicles I will do everything and anything it takes to make your payments equal to what you have now and we will NOT require any funds up front" Thinking this was not possible since my credit was just being built and both my husband and I have heavy student loans which is why we financed a 2007 used Toyota because that is all we qualified for. Well sure enough Jed Holtzman is a man of his word. My family and I are the proud new owners of a BRAND NEW 2014 Toyota Camry, we even got to pick the color and like he promised my payments were what he said. I dont know why my truck had the issues it did but I know this, they corrected it without question and stayed true to their word. They went above and beyond what any dealership would do, they put in extra foot work and time and I truly believe they cared about how upset I was. Im still in shock but I knew I had to tell everyone how my situation ended, I cannot believe I have a brand new car, had 11 miles on it, I cant believe it. I purchased a 2013 Toyota Camry SE today from this dealership. I was greeted like they really appreciated me stopping by even though I had told them that I was considering other dealerships also. That sometimes makes some dealers say you don't need to compare; we can beat their price. Not here, actually I had already compared two dealerships in the area and attempted to make a deal in one, but was treated like I was a moron as they wanted me to "give" them my trade in vehicle. The sales manager at this other dealership actually said after giving me a "low ball" offer on my car, "you didn't say you wanted my best price." (yeah, right I wanted the worst offer you could give -- at least that is what I received.) Really, I thought that type of salesmanship (or non salesmanship might be better) had disappeared after the 70s at the latest. Anyhow he upped his price by 1530 dollars just like that and said disgustingly "I am done" but I refused and sold my car to a local CarMax for several hundred more than they offered So thanks to their rude and ridiculous behavior, I had my money and went to Toyota of Greer and what a breath of fresh air and friendliness that really amazed me after my unhealthy ordeal yesterday. I had contacted them through the Internet the previous night and was greeted by the general sales manager who immediately started working with me and had a salesman bring the car up that I was interested in purchasing and then I took it for a test drive. Well, to make a long story short, I am very thankful for the rude manager at the other dealership as I was a cash buyer now and saved $3678 dollars from their first non best offer and $1419 dollars from their best offer. Had I gone back with my cash to that dealer today, it still would have been over 1100 dollars more. Believe me, it does pay to shop when you have a car in mind that your wanting to buy. The little bit of negotiation we did at Toyota of Greer was fair, quick, and nobody getting upset and walking away saying, "I am done." The time for the business end of the deal was very reasonable and the car was cleaned up in a short time and my wife was on her way home in her new car and I drove my other vehicle. If your looking for a new Toyota or a used vehicle, I highly recommend you give them an opportunity to fill your needs for your next vehicle. I was greeted by the service department as well as other workers who apparently love their job and it shows by their attitude towards a customer. By the way, this is the first time I had been in there to purchase an automobile and probably won't by my last. I have purchased between 60 and 70 automobiles in my life time (all for personal use) so I am not a novice at this side of the table. Do yourself a favor and after you have checked other Toyota dealers give Toyota of Greer a chance to earn your business.
I AM A SINGLE 56 YEAR OLD EMPTY NESTER WHO HAS PASSED MY PREVIOUS AUTOS ON TO MY DAUGHTER. NOW, JUST ON A FIXED INCOME AND LIVING ALONE, AND BUYING MY FIRST HOME, LIVING WITHOUT A CAR WAS UNTHINKABLE. WITH THE ECONOMY HAVING IT'S DOWNFALLS, I WAS AMBIVILANT ABOUT SEARCHING FOR A CAR. HOWEVER, I PUT ON MY FACE OF HOPE AND GOT STARTED. AFTER VISITING AND CALLING MANY DEALERSHIPS OVER A COURSE OF 3 WEEKS, WITHIN A 40 MILE RADIUS, I WAS BECOMING QUITE DISCOURAGED, MAINLY BECAUSE IT SEEMED CAR BUYING TACTICS HAD ALSO CHANGED FOR THE WORSE, MAKING IT EVEN MORE DIFFICULT TO FIND A DECENT AND RELIABLE AUTO. I WAS ABOUT TO RESOLVE TO BEING CHAUFFEURED THE REST OF MY LIFE. THE LAST DEALERSHIP I VISITED WAS SUCH A NIGHTMARE I WAS ABOUT TO GIVE UP, UNTIL, I WENT WEARILY TO ONE MORE DEALERSHIP. TIRED OF HAGGLING, WAITING, TEST DRIVING, AND WORRIED ABOUT CREDIT SCORES AND SUCH, I APPROACHED TOYOTA OF GREER, S. C. I DONT THINK THEY KNEW I HAD COME TO THE END OF MY ROPE FOR CAR BUYING, SO EVERYTHING AFTER THAT WAS JUST A FORMALITY THAT I WANTED TO GET THROUGH QUICKLY. I WAS SO USED TO THE DISAPPOINTING OUTCOMES, I COULD BARELY FOCUS ON WHAT ANY OTHER SALESMAN HAD TO SAY TO ME., UNTIL, AT TOYOTA OF GREER, I MET THE SALESMAN TIM BRIGHT. HIS FRIENDLY DEMEANER ALONE SPARKED HOPE THAT HAD FADED IN ME FROM VISITING THE LAST 3 DEALERSHIPS. I SENSED HIS SINCERITY, WHICH IMMEDIATELY GOT MY ATTENTION RE-FOCUSED BACK ON AT LEAST HOPING. I GOT EXCITED AGAIN, DESPITE THE FORMALITES I HAD TO CONTINUE TO ENDURE. TO SUM IT UP, WHETER I LEFT GREER TOYOTA WITH A NEW OR USED CAR THAT I HATED OR LIKED, THE INTERGRITY, HONESTY, KINDNESS, PATIENCE AND HELPFULNESS OF MR. BRIGHT MADE MY CAR PURCHASE AN UNEXPECTED PLEASURE. I WAS SO EMOTIONALLY DRAINED FROM THE PAST TWO WEEKS SEARCH, I LITERALLY WAS PLEASANTLY SPEECHLESS FROM THE RESULTS OF DRIVING AWAY IN A BRAND NEW TOYOTA COROLLA, WITH ONLY 3 MILES ON IT. MR. BRIGHT TOLD ME HE WOULD MAKE ME SMILE, WHICH I DIDNT THINK WAS AT ALL POSSIBLE, AND THE MORE HE PROCESSED THE DEAL WITH ALL THE TERMS I LIKED, I ACTUALLY FELT THE CORNERS OF MY MOUTH TURN UP. ..I HAD TO ASK HIM .."AM I SMILING?"..HE REPLIED YES. AND I DROVE AWAY, TIRED, STILL SMILING, AND UNBELIEVABLY HAPPY AND SATISFIED. I WAS THINKING ON MY 30 MINUTE TREK BACK HOME, WOW..THERE ARE STILL SOME GOOD PEOPLE LEFT IN THIS WORLD OF CHAOS. I DID NOT THINK WHEN I STARTED OUT THAT AT TOYOTA OF GREER, A SALESMAN NAMED TIM BRIGHT WOULD MAKE ME A UNBELIEVABLY HAPPY CUSTOMER. PEOPLE LIKE HIM ARE RARE, AND ANYONE HE MEETS IS A FORTUNATE PERSON, AND TOYOTA OF GREER, IS FORTUNATE AND BLESSED TO HAVE HIM. THIS IS THE ONLY PLACE I WILL EVER BUY ANOTHER CAR..IF I EVER NEED ANOTHER CAR...BECAUSE THEIR SERVICE IS THE BEST I HAVE EVER ENCOUNTERD!
Worked with Pam on getting information on the Nissan Frontier. She was very professional and provided information, pricing, and incentives for the vehicle. Since this was our first stop for shopping for a vehicle, we still wanted to check out other comparable vehicles and dealers before making our final decision. Nissan was understandable and provided the name of another sales agent at their competitor. Visited the other dealer, test drove the truck, talked with the sales agent and later the dealer manager. Couldn't get a price from this manager except for the MSRP. Was told when we were ready to make a deal price would be discussed. Big turn off, so we left. Did more research on comparing the Nissan to Toyota and came to the conclusion the Nissan would be better choice for our needs. Made an appointment to meet with Pam again the next morning. Made some changes on what we were originally looking for, and Pam was more than accommodating to work with us. We came to an agreement on price and the deal was done. At no time did we feel any high pressure to buy on the spot. Everyone at this dealership was professional, courteous, and just plain nice to deal with. We drove away in our new Nissan that day. Since that time, follow up after the sale was exceptional. Highly recommend Pam and this dealership. It has been a pleasure dealing with all at Nissan of Greer. Look forward to future service with them. Hope this will be as pleasurable as our recent sales experience.
It was because of Mr. Mann that I decided to use your dealership. I had been internet shopping and found Siennas at 3 different locations. It was Mr. Mann,s patience and kindness that I decided to buy the van from Toyota of Greer. I had been in contact with salespersons from other dealers that would not give me any information through email, but insisted that I come in to find out "what they could do for us". I was internet searching for a reason. I am a working mother that does not have much time to spare and internet shopping was the way to go for me. I really needed to know before we went in whether a vehicle would be in our price range or not. Mr. Mann was the only one that would do business with me through email. When we came in we test drove the exact vehicle we were looking at online. He honored the price he quoted me by phone, and has bent over backward to make sure our experience was as bearable as possible. We even need a repair to the vehicle and has been in contact with me to make sure I understand the process that they need to go through to get it fixed. So, even after he "got the sale" he has not neglected us as we go through the process of getting the seat fixed. Thank you Sims and excellent work!
Bought my 2015 Toyota TRD Pro Tundra here about a month ago. The sales experience was good, managers a little annoying but the sale person Justin was spot on excellent!!! Got in and out in about 3 hours. I felt that I got a good deal on my trade in and an ok deal on my 2015 Tundra.They had to fix a few cosmetic issues that were on my truck and Justin made sure to write them up, in detail, so I would not have an issue. Justin was easy to talk to, not pressuring (like some salespeople are), and seemed like a down to earth individual. No one likes the high pressure sales man or the desperate salesman. I think if i would have had any one else, but Justin; I would have had a completely different purchasing experience and not have been satisfied!!! When we go to purchase another vehicle, we will be back to see you Justin!!!I brought the truck back two days later to get the promised work done, they traded me out with a POS tundra to drive. They replaced the pieces that needed to be replaced, buffed out a scratch and replaced the pin stripe. I received the car back the next day with the work being done to my specs. I will be back to have my Toyota to be serviced here. The service center seems to be on the ball.
The sales team at Nissan of Greer is top notch, a force to be reckoned with. Thank you very much to Bo Gathers, Sedrick Mosley, The sales staff, Mr. Boyce, and last but certainly not least Mr. Eric Campbell!!! Me and my wife came to dealership a couple of months prior and got a lot of help and education about the cars there. I am a Nissan fan and maxima owner and my wife is or was a Toyota fan, we test drove a bunch of vehicles and before we could make a decision my wife's new job fell thru, so after going to almost all the other dealerships between Spartanburg and Greenville we had to go back to Bo's team! My wife wanted to go there and get a Toyota Camry, but get it there because we both liked Bo and his sales force, Eric met us outside and his knowledge and calm approach won over my wife's decision to buy a Camry and sold her a 2014 Altima that she loves. The salesman we were working with before was still professional and a gentlemen when he congratulated us to the Nissan family, so my hats off to him especially. It was a great experience overall and when the new 2015 Maxima's come out I will go there to get one!!!! P.S. I'm still keeping my other Maxima so don't ask me to trade it in. Thanks

I loved her approach & service as well as her affort to find me a best car i have dreamed for. in just very first meet she figured it out that what kind of car i am looking for which is best fit my need & comfort & price. She helped me a lot to find a best car with best price. she helped me to fix the things on that car.She is wonderful & kind hearted. She is very friendly. she treated me like family member. I am so happy to dealt with her. I must say that she is very good in after sale service & follow up. she informed me quickly about my car repair. Was well pleased with the whole staff Pam Peterson our saleslady excelled in every aspect of entire process because if she did not know the answer she would tell you so but she would immediately find out for you .we bought the nissan murano 2013 .i would highly recommend her to anyone who is interested in purchasing a car.but also i was very impressed with everyone because there was no pressure from anyone you have a great bunch working in your dealership . As you can see, the entire process to me was an outstanding experience. I can find nothing I would change in your dealership.. Everyone made us feel extremely welcome from the moment we first entered the door until the purchase had been completed. Pam has also followed up with me several times since last Monday to make sure I was happy with the car and to let me know that she will be there for me if I need her for anything related to the car and its future needs. I bought a new car from Toyota of Greer. I managed to do all the negotiating over the phone and, pleasantly, didn't have any haggles on the price when I got to the dealer. All the prices, financing, etc. were exactly as I was led to believe. Service was a bit slow while I was there and it took twice as long as promised to get all the paperwork done and get out the door but we did get the deal done. I got bumped to another salesperson for the final paperwork because the person I dealt with on the phone was busy with other customers when I got there. That was a little disappointing but considering our previous "relationship" only consisted of a few negotiation phone calls we didn't have a lot invested at that point. The person doing the final paperwork was very nice and pleasant. I was unsurprised by having warranties and extras pushed on me but the push wasn't too hard when I was firm about what I did and did not want. Overall a positive experience I just wish it had gone a little faster.
