Awful costumer service. They canceled my massage twice (I booked it 3 weeks in advance for an anniversary gift). Canceled hours before the massage was scheduled. Front desk did not offer an apology and made me feel bad for being frustrated. I recommend the Southport location which was sincere and able to accommodate me and they apologized for something that wasn't their fault.
I was excited to see this Groupon because it was a reasonable price. Per the Groupon it was $49 for a cut, color, and style it also noted that you could add on a partial highlight for $25 extra. I explained that I wanted a color and highlight and even mentioned that I bought the service from Groupon. The service was fast and I was able to get my hair done in less than 4 hours. At the end of my service I was charged $50. I did not question this as I wanted to go home and make sure that I read the Groupon correctly. I confirmed that the amount of the additional highlight was indeed only $25. I called back and explained that I believe I was mischarged. I was then told that I would be given a call back from my stylist. I received a call back from the stylist that same day but hours later. Now mention this salon was aware that I never have been there and the stylist knew that I was new. So, I was not aware of their policy. The stylist explained that the way she did my highlights it was in fact a full highlight not the $25 option that I wanted. I was not aware that I was given a full highlight - at every salon I have gone to a partial highlight is from my ears up to my crown. A full highlight consisted from the back of my head to the top. The stylist explained that at that salon a partial is only 7-9 foils and they used more than that on me. I was never told this and did not question it because I had never been told that - I was told by a prior stylist that just getting that amount of foils is called a "star burst" more of a touch up to make your highlights last longer until your next appointment. The stylist did not express any sort of sympathy for the issue even though I was concerned with the price – it was pretty much we charged you, and you paid so you’re out of luck. The stylist was not new from my conversation with her so even though she was doing an upgraded service that I did not agree to she did not inform me there would be a price change. I felt that I was taken advantage of and out of a customer courtesy to keep my business the salon should have refunded me as I was not properly advised of the upgrade. Unfortunately this salon was not willing to do so and I will not be returning.
Very nice place. My therapist is always friendly. I get massages about 2 times a month and I won't go anywhere else.
