I just paid $120 of my hard earned money (which I WAS going to put on my discover card which I've been using for wedding expenses) on a hairdo that fell out as soon as I drove off. As well as I started crying because I realized I just spent that much money on makeup I could've done myself. Then I realized my $10 fake eyelashes are falling off because the wonderful makeup provided is not even waterproof. I was also asked that if i wanted more variety of shades of lipstick I should go buy my own. If you are going to advertise special occasion services, I would expect more rather than my hair being done by someone who feels like is braiding my hair at a sleepover. I feel extremely ripped off and I will be going to buy makeup at Ulta myself and doing my own makeup. So thank you for taking the pampering out of my special day. Maybe you need to lower your prices or hire people with expertise, rather than people who are SELF PROCLAIMED make up and hair stylists. If I don't get my money back, I will be spreading the word that your salon is considerably worse than any great clips experience I have ever had. Maybe you should look to them for prices, considering that is what your services are worth. Thanks for ripping off brides everywhere.
I went to Urban Euphoria for a microblading procedure. I was very excited to finally get them done. For 15 yrs I have been using make up to cover up the fact that i barely have any eye brows. I go to my first session with Blythe. She is very nice. I show her a picture of how i want my brows to look, along with the make up I had on. Long story short, it was a complete disaster! My brows look nothing like what i had asked. I was devastated. You have expectations for a service like this and for it to come out NOT the way you want it to look its devastating. The manager finally called after almost a week. She said they would give me a micro powder session for free to make up for it. I went there after the 3 weeks of healing. I had made the brows with make up to how i wanted them to look. All Blythe had to do was to follow the same pattern. After a much more painful procedure, my brows still dont have the shape i wanted. How can she not get it right when the drawing is right there for her to follow? I went back there today (3 days later) to talk to the manager and Blythe saw me at the front desk. I told her that my brows were scabbing. She said if they were scabbing the I wasn't moisturizing properly. I told her i was. I was following all the procedures. She said that i couldn't workout during the process. That makes no sense! But anyways, from Saturday to Tuesday I had only workout once! Then she said that because i had make up on that thats whats making it scab. The scabbing started the day before and i have only used make up once to cover up the big gap that i have now on my Left brow because the scab fell off along with color. She kept insinuating the whole time that it was my fault and that i wasn't doing it right when i was telling her that i did what says on their paper.I have kept moisture with lotion on it so much that as result my skin got oily and with acne. I paid a high price for this procedure and all I wanted was results. I don't have the results i wanted.I wanted beautiful eye brows and now i look worse than before. I have cried so much about this already. I won't ever go back to this place. This has been a terrible experience.
I love this place! Jen is honestly the best nail tech I've ever been to. She's quick and amazing! I love everything about this salon. When you're there, it feels like home. :-)
Everyone is very kind and professional. The longer you have been a customer the more EVERYONE greets you by name. It is a lovely atmosphere that has just been totally redone and updated. The owners of the salon have put together a well trained, personable staff, who truly listen to their clients wants. From the organization and service of the the front desk staff to all those working the floor, I feel relaxed and in good hands.
I have been going to Paris Nails for 2 years and I love it. They are very nice and do an extremely good job on my fill ins and pedicures.
The employees seemed to be very nice, but the girl who cut my daughters hair really did an awful job. She didn't wash my daughter's hair like I requested during booking, she didn't sweep under her station so there was hair from other children all over the floor which I kept stepping on and slipping, and the haircut was horrendous. Please be careful when choosing this place!
Best hair cut in the business. He is always up to date on techniques, and latest products. If you want hair done right. Go to Don Allen
Really disappointing. We should have turned around when we walked in and the place smelled like a dirty diaper. This place is filthy dirty and the seats looked to be taken from an old playground. Not happy especially since the haircut was not that great either. I'm also really glad that I had my camera with me because the picture they gave me for my son's first haircut was hard to see since it was so pixelated. I will not be going back.
I would give them 0 stars if that was an option... When I got there, there was a long wait. They finally sat me down for a manicure after about a half hour. The man I had didn't soak my hands for my mani or massage on lotion. All he did was file my nail BOTH ways, which left them jagged and not straight. He then cut my cuticles, which was the only part of the mano I was pleased with because he didn't hurt me in the process like other places have. Then, he had to have another person finish my mani because I wanted a design (it was simple... stripes with a heart over the stripes). They sent out a girl that looked like she was in high school. She did the solid paint alright, but the design looked like I did it! Their website has very professional looking nail art images, but they clearly didn't give me someone that can handle designs. It was an ok enough paint job that I was just going to drop it and not give them a bad review, but I was proposed to the next day with literally the worst manicure I've ever received. You couldn't pay me enough to let them mess up my nails again. I'm so upset.
I want to start off saying I love the stylists and aestheticians here. Belinda and Kelly Armstrong in particular. I also LOVE the majority of the products I have tried. The atmosphere is lovely too. That being said, I do have a couple of issues. Customer service leaves a fair bit to be desired. I have been treated offhandedly and been made to feel beneath notice when walking in to buy product. Things are not always explained to you fully in regard to charges and policies, and they are not forgiving at all. Returns, even after less than 24 hours are only given as a store gift card, which they MAIL to you. You can't even have them put a credit on your account. So, while I still recommend them, make sure you know what you are buying, are completely comfortable losing the money if it doesn't work out, and are not looking for a "customer is always right" attitude.
