The woman who hired me was smoking a cigarette at her desk. Need I say anything more? Most unprofessional staffing place I've ever been to.

Corporate staffing has been an absolute God send. The staff has been great. They pay above average wages.

My experience with Flat Fee Recruiting got off to a great start. Within a day of submitting my resume for a particular position I was called in for an interview with Nija Carelock. The interview went very well and she informed me that she would proceed with sending my information to the company seeking a candidate. I patiently waited a week with no word from Nija. Within the second week, I left her a voicemail to which there was no response. After a few days, I left a message with a fellow coworker of Nija's to which - again - there was no response. After a few more days, I left a third message. Again, no response. I then called and talked to the owner, Ava Smith, who was kind enough to answer my questions about the position I applied for and she informed me the the company opted to hire an employee within their organization. I surmise that if I had not called, no one would have informed me. As a last ditch effort, I left a "final attempt" message for Nija to call me and update me on any other possible positions that they may have. To date, there has not been a response. Bottom line, at this point I am writing Flat Fee Recruiting off as a highly unprofessional staffing agency and I would not recommend them to any job seeker. In a job market where so many people are seeking employment, communication is the key to placing qualified candidates and certainly the key to any staffing agency's success. I only hope that Flat Fee Recruiting will learn from this review and work towards changing for the better.
DO NOT use this staffing company, I was treated unfairly because of my RACE, Julie Thompson and Dionne Henderson are RACIST BIT@HES ! ! !
If I could rate this place as a 0 I would. This place rips you off, they give you a job, then take it away because they don't communicate. They do not pay you, and try to trick you out of the money that they do give you. The staff that work there are constantly quitting, and because of that there is tons of confusion. Any where else is better then this place. I will be contacting their main office to file a complaint as well as suing
Unbelievable how rude these people are. Anytime I've gotten on the phone they've been snobby and just rude. They make you feel like you're wasting their time by trying to apply with them. They have no problem wasting your time by giving you the run around when you show up to interview. Then they cancel the interview at the last second and say you were never in the system!AVOID AVOID AVOID
in orientation I was told that if l give a 2 day notice, they would place me in another job. l called on Monday and told A. McCoy that I wanted to be placed somewhere else. l worked until Thursday, when l quit. l kept getting the runaround when l asked about another job. After almost a week, l called and asked if l was eligible for re-hire. l gave my ss# and was told l'm not eligible for re-hire for 3 to 5 years. According to their handbook, you don't even have to wait that long if you don't give a notice. Who knows what othe lies they have told me, and everyone else.
