I've been to many Yankee Candle store all over the country. My experience at this one was far below the standards I have seen elsewhere. The 3 employees that were present in the shop we obviously more attentive to the stock they were putting out. We were greeted when we came in asked if we were looking for anything in particular. I was and I was pointed in the right direction and that was the last interaction with the staff. When it was time to checkout I had to call out and still no one showed up. My daughter had to go find someone to check us out. We weren't asked if we found what we needed and there were no pleasantries exchanged. Very substandard customer service.
I've been using TOC for over 10 years now. I don't buy flowers every year or for every occasion. If I could afford to I would. But, I've used TOC every other year on avg when I do buy. They have always done such an awesome job. This time they disappointed me. I placed the order on for valentine's day and asked to deliver on 2/9. This is the most I've spent on flowers before and I was excited. My wife sent the picture of them and my heart dropped. They were very pretty, but not exactly what I ordered. I ordered the premium version, but the standard version actually looks slightly better in my opinion. The standard appear to have a couple more roses than what was delivered. And I paid for the premium that has 1.5 times as many as the standard. I called on 2/9 and the woman said it's what I ordered but some of the flowers hadn't opened up yet so they put some pink ones in to help brighten it up. I paid a little under $90 for what I wanted. The lady said well a dozen roses are $45.Basically just blew me off. I don't care how much a dozen roses cost. I picked out an arrangement online with pictures and got way less than what I should have gotten. I ended up calling back on 2/11 and asked for the manager or owner. I was told she was busy but they could have her call me back. A little while later she called, I explained what happened and she said they would take care of it. She was very nice and polite. The new arrangement was delivered on 2/16, the next day my wife would be back at work to receive them. She sent me a pic and they still weren't what I ordered. I would say the two arrangements together would probably equal what I ordered. So I have given up on this florist and will be using a different one for now on. If you haven't tried this shop you really should. The arrangements are all high style and very classy. High quality flowers are use too. I have never been disappointed.
