I have not ever met another doctor like Dr. Kendra Voss and I have worked for numerous doctors. I was playing with my dog and injured my eye. When I called the office, they worked me in to see the doctor within the hour. She went above and beyond anything I have seen or experienced from any other physician. Dr. Voss has impressed me to the point that I have sang her praise to anyone that will listen. I don't want to go in to detail on everything that she has done for me because I know that some people would take advantage of her kindness but know that YOU COULD NOT FIND A BETTER EYE DOCTOR!!! Thank you Dr. Kendra, you set the precedent.
I went to Voss Vision for the first time last year and love it!! They are personable and professional. I've been to several different optometrists and feel @ home here. My son recently had his first exam and he was excited and had fun. Definitely a place to go for your vision needs.
Wow!!! I am surprised to hear these comments.....I am a patient @ Voss Vision and have been for many years. They have always been kind and very accommodating when I needed something. Dr. Voss is so caring and treated my children as if they were her own. I give them 5 out of 5 stars for the best eye care in greenville:)
I loved my experience at Voss Vision! The staff was very helpful and friendly. I did not have to wait long and felt I was given great care by the doctor, especially with my new contacts and clear vision. I highly recommend them and will continue using them for my eyecare needs!
Voss vision is rude and would not recommend it. The front office staff thinks their poop dont stink and they look at you like you are not even standing there. The doctor is worse! How do you expect to get business with such a stuckup demeanor? Get a life, you all are not gods gift to everyone!
I had perhaps the best experience ever at an optometrist! From the front office to the doctor was excellent. They were so nice and helpful with smiles on their faces the entire time. They were a little short handed it seemed but the two girls handled it beautifully. They both knew and answered all my questions about my vsp insurance and glasses. In fact one helped me with frames and the other fitted me with my glasses so I considered that great teamwork! I LOVE my frames they are so trendy and I get compliments on them all of the time! Dr Kendra Voss was very professional and so caring about my eyes also. Will definately go back for years to come and recommend to all my freinds!
I actually like the doctors and have no problems with price issues. My problem is the front office staff. I too used to go to Jervey and switched to Voss & Voss because they no longer accepted my insurance. Here they ask you a load of questions about insurance Every time you go, don't file properly, act rude like I should know how to file a claim. That is their job. Jervey knew what they were doing. This staff does not know anything about customer service or how to file insurance claims. At Jervey they took care of you, here you have to help them do their job.. It's exhausting and enough to make me go somewhere else even though I like the doctors. And it's EVERY time.
I experience the same thing here about a year ago and I still can't see out of my glasses. I only wished I was as smart as this guy was and left before spending over 500.00 at this place, I should have just thrown my money out the window, at least it would have been better spend by the passerby's that picked it up. My comments must have dropped off when this system changed.
My whole experience at this eye doctors office was terrible! From the smart remarks said to me at the front to the doctor. I was so unsatisfied with the doctor that i decided to get a second opinion before I purchased my glasses. He was WRONG!! He made me believe my vision was worse than it actually was. Not only did he not seem to know what he was doing but neither did the girl who started the exam. She seemed to not know how to work the machines and then started shaking! After waiting for him to come in for atleast an hour I finally got to leave. At the front I was treated as if I were dumb and the girl didn't know what to do with my insurance! If you want good service and to be able to see when you leave don't go here!!
I went to this vision center because Jervey Eye Group no longer took my insurance. Since the day I went home with my glasses, I could not see, my computer or TV. Trying to give it a few weeks to allow my eyes to adjust, still the same problem. Went back was told by Dr.(Mrs) Voss that the lab made a mistake and the progressive line on my eyewear was not high enough. Fair enough I can wait to have thet fixed...When the eyewear return, why in the office I'm thinking ok this has to be right. So I say ok everything's fine.. BOY WAS I WRONG.. went to work still could not see...OK will wait to see if my eyes have to get use to new lenses.. Never Did.. Well It seem I let the time expired for replace lens, so to help me I have to spend close to 200.00 AGAIN... to get new lens... but this is a special rate just for me...Well new lens come back now I have the same prooblem in reverse... now i CAN SEE THE COMPUTER, BUT NOTHING ELSE.. I RECOMMEND ANY PLACE ELSE .. SAVE YOURSELF TIME & MONEY....
Thank you for bringing this problem to our attention. I think this scenario best illustrates why we and many of our colleagues have found it impossible to continue to participate in some vision plans. As an extension of our services, we fill it is necessary to be better able to control the quality of our optical products. Some of these plans limit our ability to fix problems and stand behind warranties. As a result, our patients were often left with few options and that is not acceptable for us.
This is the best vision center in Greenville. I went to the office on Halton Rd because of their selection of unique and cool frames. The also accepted my insurance which was a big plus! Dr. Voss did the eye exam and definitly took the time to exam me with care. Maureen fitted me for glasses and contacts and I couldn't be happier. Big A+ for Voss Vision, I plan to tell all my friends! Thanks a bunch!
