The Olde Homestead

Eight year old GE washing machine decided to quit on us and I called around to get repair. Dealer #1 did not return our call. Dealer #2 said they could make an appointment for us in a week (wife would not have agreed to that proposition). Called Olde Homestead before lunch and answering service personnel stated they could have someone out around four o'clock. Service man arrived after calling first to let us know of his arrival. He suspected a common problem 'bad solenoid valve', but wanted to double check our water lines first. Yep, it was a service line problem saving us $50 on the valve part. We appreciated the very courteous and professional service. Reasonable charge for the home appliance repair appointment. If needed in the future, we will call The Olde Homestead again.
