        powdercoating is a dry mixture of particles consisting of resins, pigments, filters, and additives. By grinding these components together, a fine powder is formed. Parts are first washed for a pretreatment cleaning which rids the products of all dirts and residue. Next powder is applied to the part using an electrostatic spray. The part then passes through an oven that cures the powder into a smooth film over the surface of the part.
