I bought a tacoma from here three days ago, I was pleased with the price of the truck and customer service for the most part; however, I drove about 60 miles on it and started to hear metal scraping and belts whining. Took into my mechanic and $650 later the truck is fixed. Two brake calipers needed to be replaced and needed a new timing belt, not to mention a few other cosmetic fixes I will be doing myself. My Mechanic told me these were problems that should have been there for a while and should have been fixed or disclosed before selling the vehicle. Be careful when dealing with these people.
If I could give 0 stars, I would. Got the car for a good price, but when I test drove it, the blinkers didn't work. The owner said he'd fix it. Had the car a month, 'they've been too busy to order the part' and honor their word. When I called to ask when they'd order it and told them to honor their word, he told me not to talk to him like that. Do not do business with these two. I'm surprised they've been in business this long!
I recently purchased a Volkswagen from A&H Auto in Greenville, SC and within a month both the engine and transmission had to be replaced. I paid above Blue Book valuebecause the car had low mileage and test drove well, despite the car smelling of cigarette smoke, being very dirty inside and having a poorly done paint job. Exhibiting these characteristics one is inclined to think this car fell victim to flood waters. There was a check engine light on when I test drove the vehicle but they claimed it was the gas cap and cleared the code in front of me with an OBD II reader. I regret purchasing the vehicle from here and would warn against any potential customers. I should not have ignored the overall dingy appearance and poor upkeep of both the office and car lot. It is very apparent that the owner has every intent to make money and minimize expenses without any regard for the good of the customer.
