I'm very disappointed in the Pelham Road GameStop!! Over the years I've bought quite a bit of gaming hardware from this store. A few months back I pre-ordered an Xbox One elite controller and put down a deposit. On 10/30/2015 the manager calls and leaves one message on my answering machine to come pick it up. I happened to be working at the time and missed his message until the following day. I called to verify it was still available and was informed it had already been sold. Is this a good way to run a business? I don't think so and I called GameStop Corporate to file a complaint as well. Corporate told me the store was required to give @ least 48 hours to pick up a pre-ordered item. So not only did I not get the controller I had ordered but now everyone is sold out. Thanks GameStop for your incompetence! These guys have lost a long time customer. I guess one of their friends or employees needed the controller more than a paying customer who had pre-ordered and placed down a deposit. Definitely a shady business model and poor example of how to conduct business!!!! I don't recommend anyone pre-order anything from these guys.
