Best one in town! It's clean and friendly. The workers there keep the place very nice. You will always see them wiping and sweeping.
Poinsett Cleaners closed in 2014 so the review below must be referring to Dry Clean Express, the business that took over the location. Poinsett Cleaners did always did a quality job.
I had a Groupon to have my wedding dress dry cleaned and preserved and after they did the job half way they wanted to charge me another $50. During the transaction the proprietor was extremely rude. When I brought the Groupon in I was told they would honor it and instead of calling to tell me otherwise they did the job halfway and then tried to extort money out of me. Worst customer service ever!
I've been taking my dress shirts and slacks to B&C Cleaners for a few years now and am always extremely impressed with their customer service and quality of work. They've never ruined any of my shirts (unlike another cleaner off Haywood rd), and the owner is always there on site. The women that work there know me by name, and this business just has that small town kind of feel about it. I'd highly recommend giving them a try if you are looking for a new laundry service.
Ruined a very expensive 'dry clean only' comforter. After being asked to return 3 times to speak to owner, owner was angry and unapologitic. Won't even refund the $25 to make a customer happy for being inconvenienced. Very disappointing and not worth the savings. Too many other cleaners in the area to have to deal with this poor quality and service.
Occasionally, customers may forget to pick up their garments and leave them with us for an extended period. We understand that sometimes folks get busy and may not return to pick up their items for possibly up to several weeks, but in rare cases such as below, items are left with us for many months and even more than a year. Our practice at Poinsett Cleaners is to retain garments for as long as possible and repeatedly attempt to contact owners of garments that have not been picked up. Aside from the occasional instance in which a customer has moved away or is unfortunately deceased, we are typically successful in reuniting customers with their garments.Although storage space in our production facility and stores is limited for long-term storage, only after a very extended period of time and multiple unsuccessful attempts to contact the owner would we consider the final alternative of donating an abandoned item to a worthy charitable cause. When dropping off your items for the first time, our customer service associates will ask you for your phone number. We sometimes find that customers are reluctant to provide their phone numbers; however, it is very important that we have a means of contacting you in case there is a question regarding the processing of your garments or in the event of an aging order. We appreciate the opportunity to serve you.
Beware they will not attempt to call you and will give away your clothes after a period of time.
I took my 15 year old black leather coat there. Was amazed with the fact that my coat looked as good as it did the day I bought it. Excellent work and the people there were very friendly and helpful!
They do a good job but not very friendly.
