I had stools to be recaned and repaired. Sheila was kind enough to go to my car and give me a quote before unloading. She was so helpful and pleasant!
We had heard of Greystone and had looked forward to shopping at the store. The selection was fine. The worker was not helpful; in fact, she was condescending when we inquired about items we were looking for. We would not recommend the store based on service we received.
Bought several small objects at Greystone Antiques. Sheila wrapped them meticulously for me and enjoyed great conversation and service!
Thanks Tray for the new walnut table that you found for me. It looks great in my new house. I have been shopping.on Augusta Rd location and have filled my home with great pieces. Sheila and Peggy have always been nice to me when I visit.
My mom and I walked into the store and were very disappointed. The lady working there was talking with another customer so we waited to be helped. Not only were we not helped, we were not acknowledged. The only thing that was said to us was, "I need to get back there." Not, "Hello" nor "Excuse me" or "Can I help you?" or even "I'll be with you in a minute." I cannot rate their knowledge but the service was sadly lacking.
"i ordered the long tassel monogrammed necklace in silver in January. I initially loved the purchase and had no complaints. The jewelry seemed to be of quality metal. About three months after the purchase, the face of the metal monogram began to bubble. I have worn the piece only a handful of times and this type of damage was shocking to me. When I reached out to the company for either a credit or replacement, they simply referred me to their loosely written return policy. I further argued this was not normal wear and tear, but never received a response. I will not buy from this company again. Their products are cheap and a waste of money."
"I ordered a monogrammed purse on sale for Christmas. They shipped the purse as promised by Christmas but with the monogram from the advertised purse on their website claiming it was my fault. After emailing back and forth several times they are refusing to correct the mistake and said I could reorder at the full price with a 35% discount and have to keep the incorrect bag they originally sent me. Unbelievable! I am very disappointed with this company and unfortunately my daughter will never own a purse from Marleylilly due to their "OUR COMPANY IS ALWAYS RIGHT" attitude. Be careful and quadruple check your order BEFORE IT IS SHIPPED to make sure that it is right because otherwise you'll end up spending $80-$100 just to have to give it to Goodwill hoping that somebody out there has the initials on the monogram."
Great and very talented people to work with...especially if you have family treasures to be restored or repaired! Drop in for a visit next time you're nearby...you won't be sorry!
