Southside

I have been going to Southside since about 4 years after moving here from Tennessee 30 years ago. I was born and raised in Knoxville and was never able to find a really friendly church that I felt like I fit in either the church was really friendly but I didn't get a lot out of the sermon no matter how hard I prayed for a spirit filled message. I visited many after getting married and finially decided on one and raised my children in it but never knew what a message could be until I joined Southside. The church is like family it is so friendly. I need that since I have no family left back home. The greatest thing about Southside is that the preacher Bro. Herbert Brown is the best preacher I have ever heard deliver a message. He puts so much prayer and bible study in his messages and it shows when he delivers them. The Spirit is so sweet that when you walk out you feel he was preaching just to you. We have a great Spirit filled pastor and minister of music. Bro. Tim Hoyle is a great worship leader and does a great job to get the church for Bro Herberts message. Over all I say Southside is a very blessed church with friendly people, a great worship leader and one of the greatest preacher's in America.
