ONLY REASON FOR ONE STAR IS BECAUSE IT WAS REQUIRED!!Do not rent from this company they are slumlords. They will not fix anything no mattwr how many times you call about it, and after hours you can forget about because they dont answer. I have lived in a house they rent out for 4 years and they have not once fixed any problem i have had i the home. The bathroom has flooded numerous times, with water being left in between the wall of the bathroom and kitchen only to produce mold/mildew, the poles on the front porch have fallen and they refuse to fix it, there is a whole in the house outside of the storage room (unfixed), water sits in the pipes inside the house, siding is falling off the front of house, water is a yellow color all throughout the home. There is no i insulation in the home. I have contacted them numerous times about the issues but they continue to be unfixed.
I am a handicap Lady,and I needed a 2 bedroom apartment because of my medical equipment and I'm on section8 so I was aproved for one through section 8.I live in Tennessee and a Lady out of the office in NC told me if I would move into a 2 bedroom apartment that had steps that comes into my door, they would put a ramp in right away, they lied it will be 2 years in July and I still don't have a ramp and a year ago last Oct,one of the higher ups even. promised me it would be took care of,well he lied too,because as of now it's been 15 months since he told me that ,he had left a message for me on my phone and I have saved it because I believe I am going to need all my proof,because where I have had to pull myself into my door. I have ripped my shoulder out and I have to have surgery but I can't do that until I know longer have to pull my body into my apartment and my medical scooter has to stay on my porch because I have no ramp, now the batteries that I bought are dead They want chargeany longer, because my scooter has to set out in the weather it's even been around 0 degrees at times.I feel that the company ought to replace my batteries because it's their fault I couldn't bring it in ,.oh yes where they put tile instead of carpet where I walk on crutches, they slipped out from under me and I broke my foot in 2 places,my Orthopedic Doctor called them about damage to my body, it's caused over having to pull myself in, I had polio as a child and now post polio syndrome.the reason that I'm writing this review I'm hoping the CEO of the company will reach out to me. I have fractured a hip from falling since I have been living in one of their apartments,I lived in a 1 bedroom before here,I have been with partnership property management since2011 and I'm a good renter but if the head of the company don't reach out to me ASAP,I am going to get in touch with a Lawyer I feel like I have no choice.I am so sick of being lied to.my name is Gail Metcalf and I'm at Knollridge
If you live in one of their apartments, don't expect management to abide by North Carolina SB 721. This state law requires that the management to disclose anything about an apartment that you may be interested in renting, for example bed bugs, which has been a problem at the Spindale apartments for years. Also they ignore Federal guidelines through HUD by maintaining a habitable living environment. It's a sad day when senior citizens are taken advantage of by large corporations.

Don't buy a property if they are your HOA they are unprofessional, they do not take care of your property and are unethical.
1. They do not disclose needed information prior to moving in which leaves more room for disappointment after entrance. 2. High HOA and WILL KEEP INCREASING, MAY not disclose amount prior to moving in or it changes with in approx. a month after you move in, in my condition, both happened. 3. payment options for debt card has extra charges, no cash accepted, and demands you to get money order.4. The manager William, can be limited and unsatisfactory.
Great Maintenace Supervisor in Greenwood SC named Troy but I heard they fired him for no reason!! Everyone else is very rude in the office, I went in today and overheard two ladies basically screaming an employee. From what I've heard the ladies were Robin and Angie. The older maintenance technician does nothing but sexually harass the young tenants at the property. He is a pervert and I would not allow him in my apartment to fix anything. I overheard Angie on Monday disrespecting the maintenance guys in building 207 Winter Ridge. If any of those guys were my boyfriend or family member she would've apologized when I was done with her!! Robin is an evil lady who likes to think she knows it all but does nothing except steal from the company.
Terrible now. Will not fix most problems. Had a shower with a hole in it the whole time I leased that they refused to fix resulting in tons of black mold and water damage. They would never fix the hand rail on the stair that my handicapped friend and roommate needed to get up the stairs, he almost fell down them numerous times, I finally fixed it myself. Would not fix the hole in the fence the whole time either, allowing drunks and lunatics to cut through our housing area, breaking bottles and wrecking the place, then was literally threatened with fines by the manager, Paula Hill if, we did not clean up after them. Its just better to find another place, something I should have done.
The worst company to rent from. They get your money and then its downhill from there. their goal is to save money at all cost. Therefore if you have a mainteanance emergency you are on a wing and a prayer. Dont even think about calling home office. All you will get is some smart mouth, slap stick who will scoot around any issues you may have. Mark my words you dont want to rent from half doers. In my case I decided to obtain an attorney. If you rent from these people you better be prepared to have an attorney. Run its.not worth it!!!!!!
I cannot account for other reviews of this business, but am surprised to see the obvious low esteem held by the writers and sorry to hear that their experiences have been poor. To date my experience has been one of absolutely excellent customer service. The Regional Property Manager has the expertise and professionalism that would be exhibited by an "owner" of property that truly understands the needs and wants of the customer, property and community. It is with thanks that I feel the overall rating should be so high and I do not do so lightly (exaggeration is not my strong suit).
