A Welcoming Church

Welcome to St. Francis Episcopal Church! My husband and I have happily been at this church for thirty-six years. We have raised our children here and have found the church has filled our needs in a spiritual and caring manner. There are study groups, prayer groups, choirs, youth groups, men's groups, ladies' groups, sewing circles, a prayer shawl ministry, our famous book sale, opportunities for service and ministry, etc., etc. If there is a need, I believe this congregation will provide the support and means necessary to fulfill this need. God has provided us with many blessings and to be a part of a God-centered church is one of our cherished blessings. We have found St. Francis to be that kind of church.

A Welcoming Faith Community

St. Francis is a welcoming faith community that centers on seeking and serving Christ in all persons. Insightful, educational programs for all ages are available and the community outreach and service is outstanding. The beautiful, peaceful campus is home to one of the south's largest and longest running used book sales, the proceeds of which benefit good causes.

When I first attended St. Francis in the early 1990s, it was my initial experience in an Episcopalian church. Although 'book juggling' and 'holy aerobics' were all new to me, it felt like home right away.

If you seek an open and compassionate faith community, please join us at St. Francis.
