Our Lady of Grace Catholic School, founded in 1953, provides support to Catholic families in the education of their children. The school serves more than 350 students in kindergarten through grade eight. As part of the Diocese of Charlotte Catholic schools, Our Lady of Grace Catholic School conducts weekly liturgical celebrations and daily prayers and instructions in the Catholic faith. It provides classes in reading, math, science, music, art, Spanish, social studies, computer technology, library media skills, and religious and physical education. The school s facilities include computer lab, gymnasium, media center, and music and art rooms. Its after-school activities include snack, reading, drawing, homework time, and outside and inside games. The school is a member of the National Catholic Education Association (NCEA) and is AdvancED-certified by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools (SACS) and the Council on Accreditation and School Improvement (CASI).
