Teeth Cleaning
Even with a proper at-home dental regime, cleanings and digital x-rays are still vital. We’re happy to explain the significance of dental cleanings, digital X-rays, and anything else you have questions about.
Fluoride Treatment
We offer several preventive services aimed at just that—stopping dental decay. Dental sealants and fluoride can be applied during one of your child’s routine cleanings and take no more than five minutes to apply, but they offer invaluable protection against cavities.
Dental Sealants
Sealants place a thin white layer over the surface of teeth, blocking out bacteria and filling in small fissures that may collect food. The result is healthier teeth that are far less likely to suffer from cavities or decay. Dental sealants are 100% safe and last several years.

Crowns
To brush your teeth, position your toothbrush with the bristles pointing away from your gum line at a 45° angle. Then, gently brush the inside and outside of your teeth using short, circular motions. You can brush the crowns of your bicuspids and molars using a back-and-forth motion. Be careful not to ram your brackets with the head of your toothbrush.

Born and raised in Burlington, NC, Dr. Touloupas is excited and honored to serve the Piedmont Triad community. He received his undergraduate degree from the Kenan-Flagler Business School at the University of North Carolina, where he graduated with highest distinction and as a member of Phi Beta Kappa. Dr. Touloupas remained in Chapel Hill to attend the UNC School of Dentistry for his dental education. During dental school, he served as President of the Barakat Student Ambassadors and was selected as a teaching assistant for several dental courses. Following his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree, Dr. Touloupas moved to San Antonio, Texas for his orthodontic residency. He received extensive training in orthodontic treatment, including growth and development, biomechanics, clear aligner therapy, surgical orthodontics, and interdisciplinary dental treatment. During his final year, he served as Chief Resident for his program. Dr. Touloupas earned his Master of Science degree and Certificate in Orthodontics from the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio.
