I don't know anyone who wouldn't love Paula Kapec! She takes her time with you, makes sure you are comfortable each step of the way while performing procedures, and is a genuinely caring person. Prices are in line with most general dentists (may even be a little less than some). I always had a fear of dentists, but actually can say that I look forward to my visits (enjoy seeing her and her staff). As far as the negative statements about the atmosphere of her office, I can tell you that I much prefer an atmosphere of friendliness and openess to soft music and a dentist/staff who treats you like you are only a client to be "worked on". She makes you feel really important. As I had several issues to be addressed, she worked up a complete plan when I first went there, and she has addressed each problem as in the plan. She is also considerate of your "pocketbook". She is very considerate when looking at your insurance plan and how to work within your allowance and the amount you will need to pay for your procedures. She has payment plans to assist when needed. I can't say enough about her. Office is not new, and you may have to park at the back or on the side, but everything is spotless and you will be so happy that you chose her for your new dentist.
Dr Kapec and her staff are fantastic. I have no idea what that earlier reviewer is talking about. Every time I visit her office there is a smile on everyone's face. And who doesn't want to see smiles and happy people when they have to go to the dentist! Dr Kapec has been around a long time (very experienced), is super knowledgable, has a great bedside manner, and I would highly recommend her to any of my family and friends!
Who LIKES going to the dentist? I don't. I've had a number of dental problems over the years, some created by incompetent dentists. That changed once I started seeing Dr. Kapec. Her staff and office are inviting and comfortable. I felt like I was finally seeing a dentist who not only knew her stuff but actually cared about me as a person. My whole family goes there now. I would recommend, to anyone who is asking, that they make an appointment with Dr. Kapec. Your mouth will be happier you did! :-)

This was not my first visit to Dr. Kapec's office and the second time I was there I noticed that these women like to talk alot, but who doesn't? The problem I had then was...there was a needle in my mouth while your talking and laughing and not paying attention and its moving in my mouth everytime you say something. I didn't mention anything on that visit which was years ago, but I remember it. I went recently went in for a cleaning and of course I was on time, however, their office didn't up back up until it was time for my appointment so I figured that had thought about that ahead of time. After I wait in line to let them know I was there, I sit and wait. I am called back to the receptionist to fill out paperwork, ok. They call everyone else to go back with no problem. When its my turn, the hygenist (not an assistant) comes out and is like, ""Well, just fill out the medical history so we can get you back"". So, now, you're rushing me when I was on time. Let that slide. I get back there she's rushing like she's on a deadline, she just says she's going to take pictures (which I knew), but then she just starts ramming these things in my mouth. I mean, she didnt' really explain anything just, ""Bite down for me"". No real conversation, good thing I wasn't a first time patient or a very nervous person cause I would have left! Then she begins writing in my chart with a pencil while she has her gloves on holding the pencil. How sanitary is that? When she finishes that, she's stomping around, not saying much. Comes back in, grabs an instrument and then starts scraping my teeth, not saying many words at all. When she is cleaning my teeth she's leaning over me in the chair so that her armpit is in my face. This is everytime she needed water or a new instrument. She's talking to staff that's not the room. Water is falling down my shirt b/c she's not paying attention and she just laughs it off. It takes almost two hours for a cleaning. Students at the dental school work faster. Everything was funny and everything was rushed. I've seen the way dental offices are supposed to be ran and boy! I won't be returning.
Very unprofessional, have never had to experience a &quot;professional &quot; who provide services to patients to tell an established patient that they did not have time to treat a problem. THAT IS CRAZY! Did not give an explanation. Confused. Disappointed. Staff treated patient really weird, some were overly nice while other did not bother to greet. Felt as if a discussion was conducted about the patient once they arrived. Never bothered to provided a treatment plan for dental health. Only continued to go because office was in a convenient location so I guess I receive convenient service in the end. A Sheep in wolves clothing!!!!!!

This is the first dentist I found when I moved here 3 years ago that could get me an appointment without waiting months. They were also very accommodating with their appointment for me and my kids to be seen together. I have never had to wait, and I HATE waiting, but they have always got me in and out in a timely manner. This is the first dentist that my children enjoy coming to see. The last dentist in PA wanted to sedate my youngest son just to clean his teeth; here they are gentle and kind so he is completely relaxed with them. Their office is 1/2 hr from where I live and even though a new dentistry office just opened up closer to where I live and work, I still choose to drive to Greensboro to see Dr. Kapec, she and her office staff is well worth the drive!!!
i don't recommend this dentist. i don't feel i walked in to a dental clinic. the staff were loud and you can hear them laughing and talking, same as the dentist. the talk from one end of the door to the other end. it's like going to a market. the service was awful...was not very pleased.
