My fiance has been living at Twin Oaks Apartments a year 1/2. Within this year and a half, his car has a broken window 3 times but nothing stolen. Just recently someone got shot and killed near his doorstep. No notices was sent out to the residents about what has happened and what type of securities that would take place. It was broadcasted on the news for 2 days and thats it. Now people come by that area to bring candles and flowers. You also would see a shot hole in the wall where he was shot. My fiance has talked to management to the point they basically told him that his area is still under investigation and he can't break his lease. This situation happened in broad daylight. Sometimes children are out playing. Plus, management is so unprofessional. There was an incident, he thought someone broke into his place because a beer can was found on his flòor when you walked in. Neither I nor him drink beer. This whole ordeal is a lot to handle. By reading all these nasty reviews, I see why and I wouldn't recommend any of your businesses to anybody.
Burgess Management is terrible. They will not work with their customers to schedule maintenance appointments, and their employees take a perverse sense of pleasure in denying them. If there is any system broken in your rental property, you will regret going with Burgess Management.
PEST EVERYWHERE, and they do not care about your health. At BMG rentals they do not care about their tenants. Rather than fix a problem they will try to evict you. Do not use this company for rentals, as "this is the worst company in Greensboro" to rent from (quote from my lawyer). Soon we will be going public regarding this slumlord. If you move into one of their properties and have to deal with their office you will regret it. I have never dealt with a slumlord until dealing with this office. Please take my advice and find a different company to rent from.

The owner of this business is its worst asset. The office staff is surly, rude and inconsiderate. It is no wonder that every time you visit there, there are ""new"" but temporary employees!
No one at ""BMG"" displays any professionalism or any business sense. The whole operation is just terribly unprofessional!

I looked at the reviews after dealing with BMG and was so surprised! I actually asked the ladies in the office if they were talking about the same place. They laughed and said yes. They explained that the company had been through very much needed staffing changes. That made sense because the dates on the negative reviews are old.
My experience was nothing like the reviews that I have read. The staff is very friendly and professional. I have personally recommended them to friends and family for both rental and management needs.

This is absolutly, without a doubt the wrost place I have ever lived. The apartment is run down and overall in bad condition. Every time I take a problem or concern to the property manager, he responds to me like I'm and idiot for caring about the condition of my ""home"". He is lazy and does everything he can to skim by with bare minimum being done to fix any problems. If you take any pride in where you live DO NOT rent from these people!!! I am doing everything I can to get out of my lease and move away as soon as possible!!!

Don't spend your $ renting from these people. They will ignore your maintenance requests, Steal your desposit and give you a crapy reference to try and prevent you from moving out.
The office staff has a high turnover rate and they have sour attitudes.

I was approved to rent an apartment from these people in April of this year. I asked if they would do repairs to the apartment I was interested in, and they acted as if the request was a joke. There is a new person every week that can never answer any questions.
