Our daughter attended another daycare for the first year and some change of her life. And while we have nothing bad to say about her previous center, we were only satisfied by it. We didn't know that we could be thrilled by a daycare until we came to Our Children's House. The center is small--29 kids is full enrollment--but mighty. We love how empathetic and creative the staff is, how committed they are to seeing the whole child grow through play, and how they teach the children to be a part of a caring community. Each age group has specific lesson times, but a large portion of the day is spent with children of all ages playing together: the little kids get to look up to the big kids, and the big kids learn to take care of the littles. It's a five star center, but those stars mean nothing without heart. It's wonderful to have a place that provides both.

Horrible place. Would never take my child there again after taking him here for summer camp one year. They do offer video streaming so parents can check on their kids. After weeks of hearing nothing but bad comments about my son I watched. Teachers stood around and talked the entire morning completely ignoring all children, my son on several specific occasions. Children were fighting, teachers didn't see a thing. My son was actually being an absolute angel (and that isn't parental bias) but of course when I picked him up they had a list of complaints. I had to apologize to him for believing them for so long. On a previous occasion my son had complained of feeling sick and they ignored him; by the time I picked him up he had a fever near 102. I felt like I completely failed him as a parent by allowing him to be there. Never again.
Just saw one of their van speeding in a school zone. 15 to 20 mph over
Exceptional FacilityFriendly, patient, environment for children. The philosophies and approach to teaching children and preparing them for school is exceptional. You feel like you are leaving your kids at an extension of your family when you drop them off. Food is included in their tuition.
This place is horrible. My child was there for 3 months, and received more injuries in those three months, than they did in nearly 4 years at her previous place. They was bullied by other kids as well as teachers. It became obvious the "teachers" weren't taking anytime to actually work with them and help them learn. A lot of the teachers there are nothing more than over paid babysitters. And the owner, Grant, is mean, rude, and a typical bully. I personally saw him talking down to his staff as well as other parents. His staff seem to be scared of him. He can't see what's going on in his own building because he's got his head so far up his own @$& that his favorite color is brown. DO NOT ENROLL YOUR KIDS HERE!!! And please, help spread the word about how horrid this place it
I've been taking my daughter to Bizi kids for years. She always has a blast. My 20 month old son loves it as well. It's been a lifesaver to me over the years. My children are safe (doors always locked) and they are always wanting to go back.
This place may be breaking childcare laws. The first time I dropped my 22 month old off was just before 7 pm on a Saturday. When I picked her up an hour later, she didn't want to leave--she loved the toys and play equipment. Unfortunately, there was only ONE adult left taking care of all the children, ranging from infant to 8-9 years olds. There were too many kids running around for me to get a headcount, but definitely more than six, which I'm pretty sure isn't legal. When I asked the adult in charge if she really was on her own, she confirmed that, saying she guessed they (the owners?) thought she could handle it. I disagree! My child had a poopy diaper that hadn't been changed, and when I took her to the changing area at the back, she nearly overturned a training potty that was full of pee that hadn't been emptied. For those two things alone, I can't see myself bringing my child back or recommending it to anyone else.
