Carol at Slatter Management is awesome! Over the ten years that I've lived in this development, I've seen lots of management companies come and go. None of them provided service the way Slatter does. Been living in their apartments for about a year and a half now. The rent has risen twice in that amount of time. These people will base your rent on your income, and then inflate it to for their liking. As a result, these people will milk you for every free nickel and dime they can get from you.They don't care if you end up with with no money and barely able to afford bills/food the end of your paycheck, because for these people, it's all about finding that sweet spot where people will raise hell about the rent but still pay it.Oh, these people also work with internet companies to set up strict monopolies in their complexes so that tenants are forced to be funneled into a high price plan if they want internet. Thanks for the apartment manager who was nice enough to let me know this.
Autumn trace has been nice to live at. I love the style of the homes and that they take care of the property and your place when you have issues.
ONLY REASON FOR ONE STAR IS BECAUSE IT WAS REQUIRED!!Do not rent from this company they are slumlords. They will not fix anything no mattwr how many times you call about it, and after hours you can forget about because they dont answer. I have lived in a house they rent out for 4 years and they have not once fixed any problem i have had i the home. The bathroom has flooded numerous times, with water being left in between the wall of the bathroom and kitchen only to produce mold/mildew, the poles on the front porch have fallen and they refuse to fix it, there is a whole in the house outside of the storage room (unfixed), water sits in the pipes inside the house, siding is falling off the front of house, water is a yellow color all throughout the home. There is no i insulation in the home. I have contacted them numerous times about the issues but they continue to be unfixed.
Will not return calls; obviously overpaid; not interested in doing any work. Will not provide scope of work. Lazy; lazy; lazy; don't bother counting on them. Yo9u will never get your project started.
They are dishonest and not trustworthy. I ordered a survey and they marked my property way to the left of my old markers. I had questions so I had to pay for another survey company to come out and they did the survey to match my old markers.
If you live in one of their apartments, don't expect management to abide by North Carolina SB 721. This state law requires that the management to disclose anything about an apartment that you may be interested in renting, for example bed bugs, which has been a problem at the Spindale apartments for years. Also they ignore Federal guidelines through HUD by maintaining a habitable living environment. It's a sad day when senior citizens are taken advantage of by large corporations.

Don't buy a property if they are your HOA they are unprofessional, they do not take care of your property and are unethical.
