Overpriced! Unnecessary charges! Pay attention to your bill if you do decide to be taken by this "animal hospital" they tack on unnecessary products assuming you asked for them, they charge $15 for a nail trim!? I can get my animal groomed at pets mart for thirty, which includes a bath, trimmed nails and a haircut!! They wanted to charge us over $400 for a kitten spay, after the first visit of $400 for shots, do you know Corinth Vet clinic (which is 5miles up the road) only charges $110 and the exam is only $35! Plus the women at the clinic don't make you feel like a bad pet owner for refusing certain charges and "pills". Never again will I take my pets there, and I highly recommend Corinth animal clinic. They don't charge you for "accommodations" "IV extensions" and "room preparation" they just fix your pet like you asked. I walked into this place naive and unprepared. Knowing that I had to do the right thing and spay the FREE kitten I adopted, I ended up suckered for more than my paycheck, and didn't even get the surgery done!!

Went there because they are considered an URGENT CARE vet. My 3 year old dog couldn't move her hind. The Vet did a neuro exam and body exam and took bloodwork and x-rays. After the neuro exam and x-rays she was diagnosed as having probably fallen on her good hip. His instructions were

to take her home and let her be a couch potato for a week on pain meds. Also When we looked at

the x-rays he told us it wasnt a disc issue because he could not see any issues on the x-ray, (apparently all the other vets know that is no the case and you need to do a mri or ct scan to make sure there are no issues). So at that point my dog couldnt move her hind at ALL and wasnt peeing. (Sign of nuero issue to MOSt vets. They wouldnt express her bladder they said she would pee on her own even though they told me her bladder looked uncomfortably full. They gave us pain meds and her a shot for pain. We went home, my dog was expelling feces involuntarily (another sign neuro issue to MOST vets). When I called them they told me to GIVE HER MORE PAIN MEDS,she was probably expelling feces because she was relaxed from the shot. they told me to watch her if she wasnt better to bring her back that night. Went to regular vet within hours, it was clear as soon as the dog walked in her body was postured and she NEEDED A SCAN ASAP AND SHE NEEDED SURGERY THAT NIGHT!!!

We spent a wasted 695.00 at Greenfield center that should have gone towards our dog's 6,500 ct scan and emergency surgery.

DO not take a seriously ill dog here , I love my animals and rarely review but I am so so upset at an obvious mis-diagnosis at

so many steps along the visit there.

About a week ago I brought my dog Pettie to the Greenfield animal hospital late at night because he was really sick and we were worried, so they checked him and supposedly did blood work and saw that his sugar was high so they gave him insulin and sent him home. He later passed two hours after we got home.

They claimed to have called the next day to check up on him. They did not, my mom called to tell him he passed, and all they cared about was the $100+ we owed them.

We thought the whole thing was weird so we got his records to show to our vet and on the sheet it said if he wasn't modifierd over night he would not survivie, and also that we declined to bring him to any other hospital.

We thought he was going we to survive. If we knew he had to go somewhere else we'd bring him there in a heart beat. That makes no sense for a pet owner to decline help for your pet.

Also, they claimed to have sent medication home for pettie. They never did.

Took my vet five times to get his blood records, she finally gets them and they're some other dogs. It was a female dog that died the 13th to be exact. Pettie died the weekend before that.

Holistic Thieves

Took our pup here for a nail clipping. Left with $125 bill. No advance or authorization for unwarranted tests. Double price for meds compared to Corinth vet. $45 for a physical?, which consisted of looking at our pup, period. This place is a scam, using deceptive practices, over billing and worthless testing. Who does a Lyme test on a dog that has been Lyme vaccinated? Which is clearly recorded in her records or had anyone bothered to ask!!!

I have taken my toy schnauzer to at least 4 different groomers in the area and they all did a sub-standard job - would not go back. then I found the greenfield Animal Hospital and they did beyond an exceptional job! he was so well groomed and so handsome! I would recommend them above anyone else in this area! Staff is so pleasant!!

This vet hospital charged more...

This vet hospital charged more than double for cat euthanasia compared to other local vets in the area ($195 vs $75-90 for other vets.) We couldn't just take our very ill, 17 year old, near death cat off the table and to another vet... So we paid it. I called two days later to share what other local vets charge but to no avail. It makes a very sad situation worse - insult to injury.

I cannot recommend Greenfield ...

I cannot recommend Greenfield Animal Hospital more emphatically. They are simply the most responsive, genuinely caring, and expertly professional veterinary staff I've ever had the good fortune of meeting. We contacted them about our almost-13 year old dog that presented with an acute systemic infection, fearing the worst. They advised me to come immediately, the staff was incredibly gentle and empathetic--with both our dog and us--and they treated us as I imagine they would their own family, including administering the IV in the waiting room because our dog had curled up on my lap there and they didn't want to disturb her again. I went fearing the worst for my beloved family member, and left feeling extraordinarily hopeful as well as grateful, for the exceptional care she, and we, received. I am eternally appreciative of Dr. Serfis, Anna, Becky and the entire staff, they truly saved our precious girl's life.

I have chickens and I was having a hard time finding someone to take a look at one of my best laying hens. She stopped eating and laying eggs a few days ago. Her poop was bad. When I called the hospital they were willing to have me come right away, no waiting! I took her right in and doc found worms in her poop. She had a fever to. Doc looked my hen all over and ran some tests on the poop, I was impressed. I was given some meds to get rid of the fever and worms and some paste to get her poop back to normal. The hen cost me a bit but she is worth it.

My hen is better now and laying eggs again. I was glad to find someone local who would see a chicken. I will take my chickens back there again.

I took my sugar glider to Greenfield Animal Center last week, and wouldn't recommend them. While I was there, the vet diagnosed roundworm, a bacterial imbalance, , and a yeast infection. They charged over $300. Feeling uncomfortable, I had my regular exotic vet do a repeat of the tests... She found no signs of a bacterial imbalance, a yeast infection, or roundworm.

I got in touch with Greenfield Animal Hospital about this, and found them unwilling to work with me. They offered the solution of "rechecking" him for free, but why put him through all that stress (sugar gliders are very prone to stress as it is!) when I don't trust the vets integrity? They were unwilling to admit that it was even possible that they made a mistake, and of course even a partial refund was out of the question.

I would NOT recommend this vet.

I took my 2 golden retrivers the other day on wednesday for vaccine and heartworm test. I was pleasantly surprise to know they have a free exam every wed with services. My total for each dog was $92 for exam/Heartwrm test/Fecal and worming medicine. I will use them again in the future. They were very nice and helpful and only 4 miles from Saratoga where I live.

This hospital is great!! I took my cat there on a sunday. My cat was not able to pee and was in so much pain. The doctor took him in the same day and I was able to pick him up the next day with special diet. Everybody there was nice. The nurses were very warm. I will use their service again. it is difficult to find a veterinarian open 7 days a week. Their fees on Sunday were the same like normal days fees!! That made me happy. My cat dart is doing good now on the special diet.

Greenfield Animal Hospital sav...

Greenfield Animal Hospital saved my puppy last weekend!!

Last Sunday, my puppy got a hold of one of my kids toys and took off around the house! The kids couldn't catch him, and by the time I got to him....gone! I had heard the Greenfield Animal Hospital was open on Sunday and decided to give them a call. The receptionist was sooo nice to me and said to bring him right in and they would see him right away. First of all, the place is absolutely beautiful and the staff was so nice to me and my pup. What really impressed me was that they could all tell how shaken I was about the whole thing, and each of them went out of their way to reassure me that everything was going to be okay. I also like that they explained everything they were doing, and discussed my options before proceeding with the treatment. They were all so kind to me, and gentle with my pup...it was truly a moving experience. My regular vet NEVER treated me or my pet so good. Needless to say I will be going back to Greenfield Animal Hospital for as long as I have pets! I highly recommend these wonderful people!! - Thank you Greenfield Animal Hospital

I have nothing but wonderful things to say about this hospital. This place is amazing, and everyone I know who goes there absolutely loves Greenfield Animal Hospital and their entire staff. My cat was constipated a few weekends ago and she needed immediate attention. I called, and they said to come in right away. They ALWAYS take your pet right in, and treat every pet like they were their own. The staff went above and beyond to make me feel at home, and they spoiled my cat like crazy! The doctors there were so friendly and knowledgeable too. You could tell they truly cared about me and my pet. I will NEVER go back to my previous vet again!! I would recommend this vet to ANYONE!

Overall
buyer beware

I took my dogs to this vet for one visit. He stated that my puppy's eyes were infected. $40.00 charge for medicine for that. Stated that my other dog had an tooth abcess and needed extensive dental work done. Estimate for that was 560.00 to 700.00. I brought my dogs to another vet the next day and found out that the puppy did not have an infection. I could see that but, didn't want to argue with the vet. Older dog did not have an abcessed tooth. Please understand that I would pay anything for my dogs health and well-being (as most pet owners would) but, I do not want to be swindled. AVOID THIS VET.
