Had read previous reviews on this site about the rudeness of the staff at this course. I didn't see this problem at all. The course was busy on a weekend, with some golfers holding up groups, so the staff very nicely let us tee off on the back nine. Overall very scenic and beatiful course tucked amongst the rolling hills of TN. Not only do you get to enjoy playing a beatiful golf course, but experience TN wildlife as well. Will be back very soon.

I was hesitant to try this place out after reading the reviews about the staff, but it's less than 40 dollars on the weekend, so I figured I should at least try it once. I went out with a foursome today, and we are by no means great golfers. We let one twosome play through pretty early, but the rest of the day was great. The course is pretty expansive, and some of the holes are really scenic. There's a LOT of variation in terrain, not a great deal of hazards, though. The four of us REALLY enjoyed the outing, and as far as rudeness of the staff goes, we didn't experience ANY of that. The gentleman in the pro shop was VERY pleasant, and we will most certainly be going back to this course. For how much we paid, it was in fantastic condition, with just a couple rough spots on the greens. Not nearly as bad as municipals or even Highland. All around, considering the condition, cost, and interesting elevation changes, this is my new favorite course in the Nashville area.

I have never felt so disrespected and unwelcome in my life. Three of us had driven from Indy to visit our friend in Nashville and were really looking forward to this golf outing, but we were greatly disappointed by the end of the day. We had read the reviews about the horrible staff at this place, but figured we'd take our chances because it was so close to our friend's house. We were watched the entire time as if we were criminals and then approached at the 6th hole by the ranger who said we were playing ""awfully slow""....Really??!! Who says that??!! Yes, two separate groups of two had caught up to us, which we politely let play through, but with a group of 2 guys and 2 girls, we had to tee off at both the men's and women's boxes, so of course we are going to be slower than a group of two....I guess we didn't get the memo that this course was for speed golfing. It was a rainy day and the course was by no means busy, but we were so upset by the ranger's attitude that we quit after the 9th hole even though we paid for 18...We will NEVER go back to this course!!!

I've been by this course since moving to Springfield and would love to get more information regarding tee times, the best time to play, out lay of the course, if possible and the driving range and fees. From what I have so far you can't beat the price for a round of golf. Thanks!!

when i first looked this course up on line, all i saw were warnings of mean, hateful, grumpy old men that haunted this place. as i arrived my friend and i were prepared for the worst. being two above average golfers that practice golf ettiquite even at the dinner table were ready for this experience. as we walked through the club house door we were greeted by a very friendly young man, who was more than helpful. we both paid our $27 green and cart fee and were off the back tees of number one. from tee to green this course is amazing for the money, other than a few blind tee shots, that i am never crazy about, i was very impressed. there were few occasions that i noticed an old antique of a man posing as a ranger watching us like hawks but with a swing like mine, who can blame him. (just messin' after sayin that i won't break 80 for a month) anyway very receptive greens, plush fairways, and a challenging, but fun layout. i would suggest that if you have never played pebble brook, it should be next on your list of courses to play.

Golf course is very good but it is hard to focus on playing good golf when you have rangers watching over you on almost every hole. It is completely ridiculous!! I would recommend the course but if you have problems with people watching over you like you have stolen or are about to steal something, then this course is not for you. There are too many other good golf courses around without these ranger issues that Pebblebrook has. I will probably play here again at some point in time but had rather give my business to one of the other courses that doesn't have to watch your every move.

COMPLETELY agree with the previous review. Its a great place to play and I love the course. But there was what appeared to be a ranger for every hole. And being a young guy not wearing khakis and a button up, one in particular followed us the entire time. When we made a tee time, no on bothered to tell us that you have to have a foursome so when two of our group canceled at the last moment, they almost didnt let us play!
Again, loved the course. The layout is awesome, there's animals everywhere (had a doe and its fawn run out in front of our ball on hole 12), but the staff needs to get over themselves.

Seriously, it's a great course and the price is very reasonable. I have played there like 5 times this summer but every time the people there come across like they work at Augusta National or something. They have rangers galore constantly roaming the coarse getting on your case for the smallest little stuff like driving on the rough. Honestly, half the stuff we have witnessed has been them giving grief to other players. It's really enough to make a person want to go somewhere else. I am sure I'll go back eventually cause I guess they deserve some credit cause maybe you have to be a complete a-hole to people to keep a golf course in great condition!
