Pho 1 Noodle & Grill

This is the best Pho restaurant north of Chicago and east of Minneapolis. They call themselves the "best pho restaurant in the midwest" (I don't know who rates them as this was on the window before they even opened) and that is a high mark to reach but they do very well to meet the basic standards. Their basic Pho is very good with the main broth made fresh and their bun (pronounced "boon") is quite tasty. Not only do they carry the standard Vietnamese fares but they have multiple combinations of other lesser known dishes. I particularly like their charbroiled pork that can be added to their rice or noodle dishes. They do not get a full five star because of the basic ambience.

The food was really and we got our food really fast. The only thing is when you walk in I felt like I didn't know where to go because the watress didn't take me to a table with a menu. When receiving our food my friend thought she ordered something else. The two employee talked about it so loud that we could hear it. I thought it was rude of them to discuss it in the open. The right thing to do was go up to his coworker and solve the problem. They have great food, but need to work on customer service.
