The only teacher I felt comfortable leaving my daughter with was Jena when she was the teacher in the baby room, whom my daughter really liked (My daughter attended May 2015 - April 2016).There are no accident reports made when kids get hurt. I picked up my daughter one night when I got done with work and her chin was black and blue and no one could tell me what happened and all i got was a "it must have happened at home". I pay attention to my child and i would know if she got hurt that bad. maybe better attention to the kids would do the staff some good. also, horrible lack of communication, no one could ever tell me how my daughters day was, the teachers wouldnt even acknowledge me half the time at drop off or pick up. pretty unprofessional. I was extremely disappointed with the directors Michelle and I don't remember the red head directors name. I went to them with a concern about a teacher who was being heavy handed with one of the kids, and Michelle got very irritated and told me that they have never had an issue with that teacher and that it was foolish to even think there was a problem. I am a childcare teacher myself at a different childcare center, and I do not stand for kids being physically, mentally, or emotionally handled aggressively. Those kids are left at the center to be taken care of and nurtured, not be put down or handled rough. For a director to pass off something that could potentially end up with a child hurt, is extremely worrisome. I asked that the teacher whom I was concerned about, not be in a room with my child (she was in the 2 year old room at the time) and Michelle told me too bad because that teacher was the one who does breaks for people. I was paying $285 per week and for gods sake you could at least hear a parent out about a concern. even if you dont care, act like you do. they are damn lucky I never called state on them because that kind of a behavior from a teacher is insane. passing off parents concerns when they see something that the management doesn't? really professional. Never again will my daughter attend this daycare center, and never again will I recommend this center to anyone.
