This is NOT a place to be trusted with your custom cake. They did it all wrong, blamed me and the owner (Sara Mays) did nothing but interrupt and talk over me with excuses and added cost in the most rude and condescending way just to get rid of me and keep my deposit. She refused to refund my money and the total was over $250!!! This was for an 8" ONE TIER cake and I brought my own topper decoration which was also not returned. She said she didn't get the picture I sent, but has the exact cake posted on her site today. I ended up going to HEB and they did an amazing job last minute. Dealing with Sara Mays was like catching your teenager sneezing in after curfew. It was not her fault and I wasn't specific enough. LolUnfortunately, this kind of attitude doesn't work on the business world or as an adult, period.
Have been to south location as well as Red River. This location offers more choices regarding breads and the salads are better at this location. This location was the first in which I tried the pimento cheese. It is consistently good at this location, the Red River one varies at times. The f…
5. Hey Cupcake!
Hey Cupcake is a must visit in the fall when the Pumpkinator cupcake hits the menu. By far the best cupcake on their menu and a damn-shame they aren't available year-round. Red velvet and John Lemon toe for second, and a little whipped cream makes everything better. Bug enough to share and don't…
These cupcakes are so delicious. They have the best variety in flavors. My favorite is hula - the coconut with cream cheese frosting. The prices are reasonable, and they never run out of flavors. The only drawback is it is difficult to park there. The best bet is to park around the corner o…
8. Tiny Pies
1714 S 5th StAustin, TX 78704
From Business: Tiny Pies believes that the best pies are not only made by hand, but handheld. We are mixing, rolling, cutting, baking, and loving each tiny (or teeney!) pie from scratch. Featuring a variety of flavors -- based on season, of course -- plus a unique Pie of the Month, customers can enjoy our products in a Not-So-Tiny, Tiny,…
The menu changes daily, but the specials are savory. The iced tea is flavored with peach...or was it apricot? One of those two, but a treat nonetheless. The BLT sandwhich is to die for, as well as the elborate desserts.
15. Easy Tiger
Hands down one of my favorite casual joints in the city. You can't go wrong with beer, bread, and cheese. The pretzels are amazing, the baguette with goat cheese and pear and fennel mustard is life changing, and the corned beef makes my Irish family proud. Outdoor seating is dog friendly, the pi…
I like the personal feeling that the folks behind the counter give here. You can order a pizza or grab anything in the market you need. The wine selection is very good, but what makes me love this place is the people. It's worth a stop if you're in the neighborhood.

25. Moonlight Bakery
I love this little bakery. Very close to a coffeeshop I frequent, a great place for kolaches, ""California"" cinnamon rolls, and assorted baked goods for the office. I'm not sure what they are putting in their baked goods. Maybe the flour is superfine baking flour or the sugar is delectably s…
26. Phoenicia Bakery
Phoenicia bakery offers a great lunch menu and numerous ethnic grocery items. It is worth a special trip to buy their pita bread fresh for home use. Their pita can not be beat!! The stuff available in local grocery stores tastes like rubber compared to the pita available here fresh!!
Sweetish Hill in the San Jacinto tower is a friendly, local convenience. The staff looks and sounds like Austin, and the baked goods are excellent. Mid-afternoon cookie and coffee is a winner!\r \r
This shop is well-organized and they sell lots of good products. This store is definitely highly recommended to anyone.
The shop is really good. Lots of great products. And if you want to customize your cake to suit your taste, you'll be amazed with what they can do.
Good customer service. Always fresh and delicious. Best kolaches in town. We try a new one each visit.
We have been a customer since day 1. I am a big fan of the Apple Danish, Sticky Bun and Schneken sorry about the spelling. On our way right now for breakfast. Chuck and Seven are really great guys. Upper Crust you rock.
Not a bakery that's for sure...the "Pies" refer to the pizza. Very friendly and attentive staff, huge beer selection, and the aforementioned pizza is fresh and delicious.
Bad Bakery, I bought 2 of bread, 2 roll of cake, cost $20, only one roll of cake is fresh.I wont go to shopping again !!
Extremely IMPRESSED with Cakes Chocolates & More. I had to order a "last minute" cake with 5 days notice for a baby shower. Not only was Irene helpful in ordering to my specifications, the cake tasted great and SO DELICIOUS! It was the HIT of the party. I would use this business again in a heart beat. You get what you pay for a CUSTOM designed cake, well worth it. Thank you Irene!
