Aware is a private, nonprofit organization that provides a range of community-based services for people who suffer from mental and emotional disorders. Established in 1976, the organization offers family care services for the development of parenting and social skills. It provides case management and program planning solutions, as well as supports the Galen Therapeutic Program. Aware also offers psychiatric rehabilitation and support services to meet the housing, transportation, educational and employment needs of patients. The organization provides consulting transitional living and foster care solutions. It offers respire and residential care services for adults. Aware additionally supports the Head Start program.
