Two of the Dodge trucks we own had differentials go out in them (both trucks had lifetime bumper to bumper warranties purchased from Lithia). We took them to Lithia in February. The shop manager, Bill, informed us that they were looking for a vendor to start manufacturing the differentials & there was no time frame as to when that would be. Later in February, Bill told us that they were approved to be replaced, & just waiting on parts. At the end of March Bill told me that he had gotten approval from the warranty company to purchase the parts from an outside vendor, he just had to find them (I later found out this was also a lie as, when I called the warranty, that request had never been submitted by Bill & therefore was never approved). By mid-April Bill said he had checked with Randy’s Ring & Pinion & other Montana based auto parts suppliers and couldn’t find them, so the differentials would be on hold until they were located. In June Bill said Chrysler had gotten a new distributor and would ship them as soon as they were manufactured. By the end of June Bill told us they were manufactured and waiting on permission to be shipped to Lithia Dodge of Great Falls. We received the same feedback through July & August. I also want to add that Bill told me specifically that he did not have to do business with me; he told me that he could make me go to another Dodge dealer. The only reason he was doing business with me was because I had spent a lot of amount of money there, but that him and his shop guys didn’t like my attitude and that if I ever wanted to have my vehicles serviced or fixed that I needed to bring them candies, donuts, treats, and basically suck up to them and beg them to do it. I did buy them donuts twice & bring them some candies and treats. I was desperate for my work vehicles. In the beginning of September I called Randy’s Ring & Pinion and was informed that they have the differentials in stock for purchase and they had been available the whole time.
If you want to buy a broken vehicle at full price, go to bennetts, if you want a vehicle that needs to be repaired the next day, go to bennetts, if you want a wrecked vehicle at full price, go to bennetts, if you want Customer service lie to your face, even a manager, go to bennets. They are not here to give you any deal but to line their pockets. This was my experience, if I were you find somewhere else to shop for a car,
Not only was the guy rude, he told me I don't even need to work or your money. Talked with a fellow church goer about sales and treated me with disdain. I had money to buy. He flat out called me a liar and spammed my inbox with childish insults when I wouldn't sell him my car on Craigslist. Nothing about this business is professional at all. His inventory spills out everyone. I hear from other dealerships he probably never makes a sale. Likely his poor attitude and service. Never ever will I do business with this place. The owner is a joke, but his emails made me laugh a little. Only 1 staff member, cars are crammed in. Guys like this is why I will never trust a used car salesman ever again.
Talk about lies, issues, threats and accusations. The car didn't start within less than 12 hours of buying it. It was said to be at first sitting too long, too not having it long enough. Constantly didn't start, oil leaking, burn smell, engine lights on. Promises to return the car when mark came back in Wednesday. Then he isn't in till Monday. They later said well come get your car, its ready, if anything happens while it's parked here. Your problem. They left it there unlocked. Disrespectful, rude, constantly interrupting me, hung up on me. I'm probably stuck with the car if I can't talk to corporate about how bad things are or if anything happens to the car tonight. If the car accident and medical bills ain't enough. The stress this'd place caused as well on top on that. Ray, Craig and Mark did nothing to help the situation and said I did the damage to the car somehow. Never ever again.
This dealer sucks. Please, please do not give these awful people your money in anyway or manner. I would not recommend these people to my worst enemy. The financial consultant Micheal Kojetin is an terrible person down to his core. Please do not fall for their loan sharks ploy.
