I am stunned by the bad reviews on this site. This wonderful company has taken care of me since 1984 and they have always been there for me and gone overboard with their exceptional service. People should really think twice before they spread negativity towards people and businesses . Most of us work really hard and want to help people ! Sometimes no matter what you do, you cannot win. I was a customer of Hull Oil for over 30 years. My parents were customers before that. They used to be a good company. I own a rental property that needed repairs to one of the heating units. It was not an easy repair, but certainly doable by any standard. When I called to get it repaired the manager yelled at me for bothering him. They kept putting me off for weeks, even though I had a new tenant moving in and needed to get the job done. They lied and mislead me. They never once returned my phone calls. I had to keep calling them, but still got the runaround. It was clear after three weeks that they just didn't want to be bothered for anything more than a simple cleaning and tuning. The message to me was essentially: "Drop Dead". I finally got a plumber who showed up the day after I called him. We had to wait a week for a part (Hull told me they couldn't find it anywhere), but the day after it came in, the plumber had the system up and running in less than 3 hours.

I would strongly recommend avoiding Hull at all cost.

I don't understand the lousy reviews posted here. Not only was the owner polite, helpful, and very friendly, he made an oil pipe repair for free, inspected my entire system before delivering, and then delivered exactly when he said for the exact same price everyone else was offering. His men were professional and friendly, also the cleanest oil guys I ever saw. I can't recommend them highly enough!

I called to check oil prices and was asked personal information JUST FOR AN ESTIMATE!!!! The owner was very rude and hung up on me because I didn't want to give out my information until I got a quote!! What a jerk!!!!!

If want a oil company to laugh at you when request services, sign up with these guys. When they do stop laughing at you and set a date to come they do not show up.
