I came in on 2-20-15. There was a long line with one person behind the counter, I finally made it to the front after about thirty minutes, I needed help with something I was returning, I needed a pen because there weren't any for customers to use. With an attitude the person waiting on me said a girl was using one and I would have to wait until she was done to use it. Then I needed a small piece of tape but you have to buy an entire roll. ARE YOU KIDDING ME ??? I only gave it one star because it was open...

There is a very good reason that this location is ranked as one of the worst Post Offices in the area. Quite simply, it’s terrible. Excessive waits and poor customer service are well documented yet there seems to be little desire to improve the quality of service at this location. My business requires a visit to this location several times a week (at different times) and there is never more than 1 or 2 people behind the front desk. It reminds me of the DVM of the past!

This post office does not offer legal size priority flat rate shipping? I was offered the option of a flat rate 12 x9 1/2 padded envelope or another letter sized option and told that was all they offered. I mentioned it's a service option according to the usps web site and again, "this is all we have" I then asked if this was a service Grayslake Post Office chose not to offer, the question was ignored. Have had to tolerate lousy delivery service for years, add lousy counter service also.
