        he Country Preschool has been providing childcare services to the Grass Valley and Nevada City area since it's opening twenty-five years ago. The center is located in a quiet residential area just north of the Grass Valley city limits along Alta Street. Here at the Country Preschool, a small school atmosphere is important to us. We are able to accomplish this by housing the children in two separate buildings, each with its own independent playground, all on one level acre. The 2 and 3 year old children are in one building while the 4 year old and older children are in the other. Parents appreciate the fact that the younger children are in their own building with age appropriate facilities, away from the older and more active 4 and 5 year olds. country-preschool.jpg We all know what sending you child to their first day of preschool is like. Sometimes it's a difficult decision. Please know that by dropping off your little loved ones at The Country Preschool, you'll be placing your child into a warm, nurturing environment where social development is the focus but education isn't ignored. Please know that when your child leaves our school to start kindergarten, they will be socially and academically ready for the transition.

        Fantastic school

        I have three children, My oldest went to The Country Preschool and she loved it there. She was a very shy, timid little girl. The teachers welcomed her with a smile and made her preschool experience a sucess. When I had my second child, I also brought her to The Country Preschool! Already knowing the teachers, I felt at ease dropping off my child knowing she was going to be cared for by women I trust. With my last child,I didn't think twice of where i was going to send him. When we pulled up to the Preschool my son could hardly wait to get out of the car. He has made such wonderful friends at The Country Preschool.

        Overall, the preschool is a great place for a child to come. Big, beautiful yards, Teachers are very personable and helpful. I feel it was a fantastic way to start off my childrens first education!!
