I like waffle house but when they don't want Law Enforcement in their place of business when they are in uniform then I don't want to be here either. most everyone knows that Law Enforcement is on duty 24/7 and always carries their gun with them because they never know when they may have to go on a call. just like a Doctor is on call they and have to go wh
Killer place to eat...LOVE THE CHILI!!! This is a family favorite for us and we have all special occassion dinners here as well. \r \r I could go on and on, but the bottom line is once you eat here you will understand!
Nothing fancy here. I think the eggs are too greasy and the waffles and pancakes are very average. IHOP isn't much better but at least they're not as greasy and they have a larger variety of foods. \r \r One can't mess up bacon and eggs too much... that being said, this place is so-so.
We had a great experience for breakfast so we went back for lunch and the croque monsieur was deliciouuuus. we had to finish with some of the great dessert they make on location just like in France.
La Madeleine's is a nice place to have a casual breakfast, lunch or dinner. The pastries are better than the actual dishes that are served, but even the regular dishes are not too shabby. The atmosphere is very quaint and pretty. I think for what you pay, the food is fine. I've tasted authen…
Was there last evening and sat at the bar. Beers were barely cool after we waited for them for 15 minutes and she said the fact we requested lime w/them was why she was so long in returning w/the beers. The food was cold and I was shorted a salad and a side. She bought the side after I reuqes…

Love this place! I have tried so many Indian restaurants in Dallas Metro area and this one definitely has an edge. I experienced the authentic south Indian taste, spice and flavor which is really hard to get in this continent. Knowledgeable waiters who can guide you in trying new items, they go …
I found the staff very friendly and helpful. The meal was cooked perfectly and quickly. The restaurant was clean and pleasant. Overall a great place. I recommend it and I'll go back.
If you want an amazingly fresh breakfast with enough servings for 3 on each plate, this is your place. A personal favorite are the softball sized biscuits! Try to avoid the owner though, she is not nice at all. The rest of the staff has been very polite in my experience.

As of Sept 2012, Biscuits Cafe Grapevine is under new management. Excellent food quality, amazing service and a great atmosphere. Come by and see for yourself.
I stumbled across Biscuits Cafe while on a detour due to Main Street being closed for the Grapevine Festival. The food was served hot and fresh with HUGE portions. I could not finish all of my meal. The biscuits were good, the hashbrowns perfect (though a rather large serving) and the breakfas steak was the most tender I've ever been served. Great waitstaff who were attentive without being pests. I hope to travel to North Texas again soon and will always go to this cafe for breakfast! Certainly worth the drive if you're anywhere in the area.
