I WOULD NOT go here and will tell EVERYONE I know about my horrible experience... I recently (January 21,2010) applied to live here with a friend. WE WERE initially turned down the next day and treated VERY RUDE BY christina for a misdemeanor crime over 12 years ago on my record. I then WROTE the property management and local news to share my HORRIBLE experience. I WAS DENIED THE BASIC CIVIL RIGHT TO LIVE because of a MISDEMEANOR and felt that WE had been treated VERY UNFAIR by their staff in the process. After writing the emails and sending the next day I received a phone call from the manager Jackie whom at the time was VERY NICE. When questioned about our experience she totally eluded to the questions in reference to my criminal history (for obvious reasons yet to be seen....) At that time she informed me they just need to verify our income and provide required paperwork to the apartments auditor for their records in case they were audited by the state. Once all was in order we would be approved and move in on the requested date of February 1st. The next ELEVEN days we went back and fourth and gave them EXTENSIVE paperwork on THREE different occasions for proof of income. As well we were required to fill out THREE DIFFERENT applications EACH TIME FALSIFYING dates and information per the managers Jackie's instruction. I HAD to be approved and moved on the 1st of February or I would be left without a place to go. I PERSONALLY MADE the apartment staff aware of this CRITICAL situation on MANY OCCASIONS... ... ON the first I was contacted by jackie again this time was rude and informed me we were disqualified because we now make to much money to qualify.. a decision that was based on THE INACCURATE FIGURES WE GAVE PER HER INSTRUCTION.....COINCIDENTAL ?

I THINK NOT........

I am NOW IN THE STREETS WITH NO HOME AS A RESULT of some cruel joke this office staff decided to play on us....I beg anyone that is considering moving here to go some where else. anyone that would do this to someone is capable of much worse and would strongly suggest

avoiding this place at ALL COST....

be prepared

These apts are full of Thugs the police are here on calls 4-5 days a week in the summer and less in the winter Its gotten so bad here that the police have to cruise the complex in unmarked cars as well as cruisers several times a day but even this has not curved this riffraff riddled apt complex from their frequent acts of unacceptable behavior. Also be sure if you do move in to take pictures of the place note all defects and keep them in a safe place you WILL need them I have asked the carpet contractor about the price the mgr pays for new carpet it was in the range of $250.00 for a 1BR and slightly more for a 2BR So this person above was taken to the cleaners I have worked in the apt bus. 4 yrs I knew that the Mgr was NOT paying anything close to $900.00 to carpet an apt

Be Careful

These apartments are nice for lower income families. Things seemed to be o.k. when I moved in with my child. The office staff was very nice and helpful. Turned in all my paperwork, including my move in condition form. The manager told me that she would put it in my file. I asked for a copy of my move in condition form and was told that the copier was broken, but they would get me a copy the next day. Got busy getting settled in and totally forget to get my copy. Asked about the copy about two weeks later and they said they miss placed it, but when they find it. Didn't think anything of it. The time that I lived there, really didn't have any problems. Until I moved out. I have had nothing but problems with them since.
There were a few stains on the carpet before I moved in and that was listed on the move in condition form. When I moved out I was asked to pay $970.00 for carpet replacement. I was shocked!! When I asked to see the move in condition form it was completely blank.... I was so upset. I asked at that time for them to provide proof of when the carpet in the apartment was replaced prior to me moving in. It has been almost 2 years now and with a collection on my credit; I have yet to see the invoices for the carpet. I have been calling about every six months to try to resolve the issue and there has been no response. I just caution you if you move into these apartments, you may get stuck with and outrageous move out bill.
