Absolutely horrible customer service. The beginning of my pool restoration was pushed by nearly 2 months because of rain. I get that.... but the rain is over and I haven't had mastic in 8 weeks. Three calls have all lead to "It's on the schedule....we'll be out Tuesday to finish".... Tuesday keeps coming and going and they still haven't finished my pool. I had a 2-ton rock fountain added and it still isn't plumbed. Once they get your money.... they stop returning calls.

great experience working with ...

great experience working with Classic Tile & Plaster. Jerry Reynolds was our contact and was really helpful. he took us in person to see different color pools. we love the aqua blue pebble sheen. seeing the pools first made our decision much easier. Jerry also made the tile selection process easy by having over 100 different tiles in his car. give them a call and ask for Jerry.

My neighbor used Classic a few years ago and had their pool done with PebbleTec. They love their surface and suggested we do the same. Jerry was our sales rep and suggested PebbleTec for the pool but PebbleSheen in our spa (smaller smoother pebbles). Seth was our supervisor and stopped by everyday to check on things. Overall great experience. We don't miss the plaster at all.

Buyer Beware!!!!

BUYER BEWARE!!

We hired this contractor to redo our pool with Pebble Sheen, new deck-o-seal, a new pump and booster and repair work to our pump in March of 2011. The customer service and professionalism was great until they recieved their last installment from us. Once they were paid, the service and professionallism was HORRIBLE. They forgot some deck-o-seal work and needed to repair a couple sections that were of poor quality. The section forgotten (but already paid for) was completed after weeks of calling and prodding, but the repairs were NEVER completed as they told us that the deck-o-seal work was not under warrantee (even though they had just completed the work within the last couple weeks). Also, we had to call several times to have the new pool sweep delivered and installed, which was done improperly. They had to be called over and over to fix this. Again, not fixed properly, we had to hire a different pool contractor to fix it. Also, they were paid to fix our pump and this work was also neglected. We called this company every few days asking simply for a date that they planned on fixing the remaining issues, and, they continually promised it would be the "next day." However, the next day would come and go without any word from them. After 3 weeks of this, we finally called a different contractor to complete their incomple work. Although our pool looks great now, it's the little things and follow-up that would tell us whether or not to recommend a company's services to others. Classic Tile and Plaster is NOT a recommendable company. They are a classic case of "take the money and run" leaving a mess to be cleaned up by others. So, BUYER BEWARE!! If you are unfortunate enough to have already contracted with them, please do NOT pay them in full until ALL the work is completed.

Great Experience

I recently had Classic Tile & Plaster remodel my pool. I had planned on simply resurfacing with white plaster but ended up selecting blue granite PebbleSheen. Huge difference!. I now have the most beautiful blue water I could have imagined and practically maintenance free. If you call them be sure to ask for Jerry Reynolds. He was my sales rep and was a great help to me - start to finish.

We chose Classic Tile & Plaster because they are an authorized installer of PebbleTec & PebbleSheen and have been in business for almost 30 years (rare these days). Jerry was our sales rep and Seth was the project manager. Jerry helped us alot by taking us to pools they had completed in order to select the PebbleSheen color and Seth stopped by each day of the process to supervise the work. The job took just 4 days - start to finish. Great experience.

What a nightmare!

I had received an estimate for some pool deck repairs. The gentleman that did the estimate new what I wanted did estimate and I had to wait (on both of our accounts somewhat) and on the day of arrival I was told only a small section was being replaced. I said what? for the amount I was to pay for the small repair was so out of the ballpark it was rediculous. If you hire these people be there when the estimate is given and go over it and over it and over it to be sure you will not get taken like I almost did

In April 2010 we had them re plaster our pool with Stonescapes Tropic blue and it has been about 3 months with no problems. The blue is very nice, but the sparkles (which the a rep through in free due to my small pool) really enhanced it! The lack of communication was annoying. It would have been nice to have a dedicated person that would answer the phone when you have a question or request instead of a VM that is ignored, or better yet, a person that would call us to keep us informed when they are coming, what happens next & when. But this is normal with most all contractors, so just be glad the work was good.

Good if you ride herd on them

I wish I had the same experience as the other reviewer. Great salesman - but we later find out he didn't really specify in the job order what we thought he did. Write EVERYTHING DOWN! He claimed we'd never even asked for anything besides "flagstone" which to him = "Oklahoma" and "you get what you get", despite our distinct discussion otherwise. Their first tile work made no attempt to distribute identical tiles and create a balanced appearance. We made them replace both after a pretty angry exchange with him. They still tried to cut corners occasionally (they cut holes for volleyball net in decking to match those in old concrete, even though we expressly stated (again to salesman who didn't listen) we did not want them, then tried to have their guy just 'plug' them with small rocks as repair, but we caught him in time). Final work appears to be good quality - but you shouldn't have to police them to get it! Write your own SPECIFIC contract supplement and get them to sign!!

We recently had our pool resurfaced and Classic Tile & Plaster did a thorough job and it was done on time. They did a good job of cleaning up after themselves also.
