Sandy does have the absolute best donuts. Except they're closed for renovations from 7/1-7/8 2018.

Terrible experience from the start. Our server, Spencer spilled about a quarter of my water when he sat it down in front of me. I understand that accidents happen, but neither did he acknowledge it nor did he apologize and bring napkins to wipe up the mess he made. The quality of food was terrible and over priced. My wife's chicken in her stir fry was like eating rubber and non editable. I have had better burritos from Qdoba for half the price. We waited at least 10 minutes before Spencer came back to check on the food. My wife explained the poor quality and they did nothing about it. I normally do not complain about food so I didn't say anything about my burrito. However, an attentive server should wonder why only one bite was eaten from it and when asked if a to-go box was needed the customer said no. I would never recommend that anyone go to Sundance for a meal.
Business’ dress code prohibits evidence of gang affiliation. Idiots can't tell the difference between gangs and Veterans. They ordered veterans Adrienne Brown and Victor Murdock of American Legion Riders Post 179 to take off their vests or leave the premises.The veterans’ vests showed the Prisoner of War Flag, the American flag and a bald eagle. However, Dave & Buster’s management unthinkably stated that the vests had gang insignias on them.DO NOT PATRONIZE.
Never been there, and never will, showing disrespect for veterans. Is not a place, as a vet I would want to go and have a meal.
The maitre d. was rather cold in her greeting. When I asked for a different placement, she became a bit sullen. Not a good first impression for a new customer. I knew right then that we should leave. We didn't and found the food to be mediocre at best. Can't recommend this place and won't go back.
Worst experience ever especially at a restaurant! (sigh) where should I start.. First the food was cold! I had to ask several different servers multiple times for condiments! When the brought my food, the forgot the bun and my cheese was not at al melted. It looked like they microwaved it for .5 seconds! The service overall was unprofessional! I had on sunglasses because of my glaucoma condition and was asked to leave and security stood around me like I committed a crime! Do not eat here you have been warned!!!
If there was a zero star rating I would have clicked it. The waitress Stephanie did not ever bother to say "hi". She barely looked at me while she was texting on her cell (yes she was on her phone texting the entire time, while keying in the order, while pulling the salad out of the fridge, and even while filling up beer glasses as hard as it seems to believe ) and in the rudest way asked me what I was going to order. After that I was forgotten at the corner till my order was ready. When my order was ready she handed me the bag and said "here is your order", I said "thank you" without receiving any reply, and made my way out.The food was good however I will not go back to that place ever again. I work near the 68-th street and I eat lunch out every day together with 4 of my coworkers, with just a simple math that place is loosing about $100 per day just from us. Employing people like that is definitely bad for the business.
One of the worst restaurants I have ever encountered. The manager, who claimed to be the owner, was rude and disrespectful when I told him he got our whole order wrong. Not to mention they left us sitting in the drive thru for a half an hour and never acknowledged we were there. We had to go inside to order. I will never go back!! Zero star rating for customer service!
